This has significantly decreased their service. They refuse to work and only stick one person at the front. They have delivered my personal mail to the wrong P.O Box multiple times. They have even lost and returned my package back to sender by accident. They need to be shut down and restructured.

Controversial opinion: USPS (or just this location at Mira Mesa) actually do its job well... or may I say... it does its job even good perhaps.
Every time I went there to send simple packages, I had nothing except a good experiences from the staff themselves.
However, the problems with the USPS itself is the type of people
that goes there. It is as if 95% of people that goes here were placed under a Izanami in their own current world, because there is no way of explaining of how they are acting.
I seen one guy taking up a spot for OVER 10 MINUTE!!!! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!!!??!??!?!?!? There was a long line because this guy was take one of the 2 spot available.
I do noticed sometime, when the line get too long due to these people, they add someone to the counter, which is really nice!!!
All government position suffer from the same problems... the type of people that goes there. Somehow, they can turn a 1 minute interaction into well over 6 minutes. Oh well....
So why did I give this place a 4 stars. That is because one time, when I was sending my mail through Certified Mail, my tracking progress said that my mail wasn't delivered yet, even though the recipient has confirmed and verified they have received it.
Granted, I had send my mail to the Social Security Administration to replace my social security card, so it probably wasn't USPS incompetent. However, I was worrying for quite a bit seeing my package being more and more delayed. Even as of right now, it still said that package still is at a sorting facility.

Minus stars if I could because of this rotten employee - LILY - TERRIBLE worst of them all, will act like all customers are there to inconvenience her. Extremely rude, starts yelling at customers in loud voice, aggressive and demeaning. Lazy and Lies to your face that a certain item is not available bc she would have to go get it unless you spot it out for her. Pity, there are people more deserving of jobs than her… save yourself go to Carmel valley - people are happy there who value their job and do it right. People like her should be fired honestly. But knowing the mm usps culture and management, nothing will change. Read other reviews - she has a reputation that precedes her. Nasty!

Untrustworthy postal office. I have dropped off mail to be sent out at this location, then a month later I received a letter from SDPD my mail was retrieved in a local motel along with other stolen mail!

If I could rate negative stars then I would. The service and responsiveness of this location is beyond atrocious. So why am I writing a review....well because it is impossible to get an answer from the USPS between all their layers of bureaucratic nonsense. We would be better served reverting back to the pony express in terms of transit time and transparency. What a joke of a service.

Horrific attitudes from employees here. The woman helping me raised her voice at me for inquiring when they changed policy on their tape, as ive always boxed my things up and theyve been fine to send. I couldnt believe I was treated that way for asking a question. Very nasty people, I'd drive a few extra miles to the next post office not to deal with the employees here

This is the WORST post office I’ve EVER been to! They never know anything, can never do anything, they lose packages and tell you they don’t know what happened with no further assistance or direction and they can’t even print out the damn labels! This is the ONLY post office I’ve EVER had an issue with. Like what do they actually do here? If I could give 0 stars, I’d be wishing I could give below that.

Tried to ship an item here. The workers are slow, provide inaccurate information, and generally this location is useless. Only come here if you want to be frustrated.
