Last week I had a bad experience. The staff is not trained to serve the public. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong and they did not accept what I was going to send and my money. Go send it somewhere else. Guide to Serra Mesa. The staff was very attentive. I told them clearly what I was sending and they gave me the money. No problem.

Lady was lazy (Blanca) to do her job to scan my packages gave me an attitude told me to leave them in drop box because I will hold up line , this post office has a lot of lost packages I rather get them scanned, maybe hire more people and have better customer service , everyone else in this location is nice with great customer service from my experience

I had very bad experiences with April and this is not the first time. She does not treat customers the same way. Please be honest and respectful especially when you are working at USPS, April!

Lazy delivery service.
Stated that no one is available but never really delivered the mail!
They just left the slip inside my mailbox!!! And no one answers the phone!!!

I’ve had a certified letter and various packages go missing over the years from this location. They are known for hiring thieves.

Blanca is just so rude. Every time I go there she just goes above and beyond to be mean to clients. I feel she has a power trip. Her manager should coach her better. Everyone else is just fine. Also, today I went there and there were 8 customers ahead of me. This other employee was taking drop offs only, without receipt. Why can’t he just open his window? He was nice though. This place needs to be better managed

I left work early to pick up important package. It is almost 2-5 minutes of closing time but ARMANDO let me in & ELIZABETH accommodated me with a smile. I got my package & thankful I made it on time & these 2 employees are so helpful. Kudos to both of you!

The several times I've stopped here, the staff are always friendly and helpful (unlike my local USPS, unfortunately) and there's rarely a line when I go mid day or early afternoon. The line that is there moves fast.

Update: make that 3 robberies!! This time, the family member didn't put any money in the card & we received it partially opened, with tape on it. The family member said they never put any tape on it at all.
There is someone at this location who is almost definitely stealing. We've had 2 incidents of money taken from cards in just the last 2 months totalling $200, coming from different locations, through here, delivered to a locked mailbox, with the same result. Envelope slightly opened & cash gone. I've filed a complaint with the Inspector General & USPS.

Absolutely horrible customer service here. Rude and incompetent. Unbelievable how these front desk people still have jobs with how rude and condescending they talk to people.

Complete incompetence! Mailboxes for apartment left unlocked for ANYONE to access. Our unit #s and full names are written in sharpie inside each box (why there's white on photo). USPS aware frequent package theft from lobby. Important letter taken from box because unsecured. Report filed, and OIG contacted.
