“Really dope shop to thrift at. They’ve got men’s and women’s clothing. Sometimes they host big events, like $20 and Under on the weekends. I cool places to vibe at if you’re looking to shop”
“Great vintage shop with a lot of options. Could stay in there all day not to mention the staff is extremely helpful. Very fun to talk to, and have a great fashion advice if I do say so, myself. Definitely would suggest popping in catching a vibe and leaving with some new threads and maybe some new friends. Plus, the dude Tristan does jiu jitsu so automatic five stars if you ask me definitely will return and bring a friend.”
“Super cool store with great inventory. I’ve bought some great shorts, vintage 100%silk blouse, and a bunch of fun graphic tees (100% cotton). The owner, Tina, is super helpful and insightful with sizes and styling, and makes shopping an easy and comfortable experience. Honestly really accesible thrifting/vintage shop. Prices are super fair - One of the last places in San Diego that doesn’t feel like a price gauge.
Also great denim selection!”

2205 Fern St, San Diego“We have been going to Bad Madge for 5 years now and it is one of the best shops in San Diego! If you love vintage you need to check this store out. They have vintage furniture, clothing, glassware, tiki glasses, and plenty of new/vintage inspired items! Fantastic curation going on here and everything is beautifully arranged. We had been eyeing two chairs made by local South Park furniture maker Jose Eguez! These chairs are Caribbean Rosewood and they are perfect! Tanya helped us out with making our decision and delivered them today to our North Park condo. Tanya has impeccable customer service, her team who works at Bad Madge are also kind, welcoming, and helpful. We love these chairs! Cannot wait to have these chairs for years to come. The workmanship on these is so impressive. Before you buy from some mass produced furniture shop online try shopping local and support Bad Madge! The pricing is more than reasonable compared to pottery barn or crate and barrel. The winter South Park walkabout is coming up and let me tell you Christmas at Bad Madge is well worth checking out.”
“This record store was amazing! The store owner was so badass and gave some good deals! The best thing was the cassette tape selection, so many R&B and hip-hop titles!!”
“Excellent record shop with surf boards, skate boards, collectables, clothing, etc. :) The owner, Mike, has a wealth of knowledge and very courteous. Will be returning soon.”
“Literally one of the best shops ever. Clothes are in great condition, reasonably priced and vintage. There are so many cute things to choose from. She’s got shoes, purses, coats, blouses, dresses, etc. The cherry on top is the owner is super helpful and kind. She really does know her stuff!!!!”
“Bought a new leather chair there last year. Great deal. The employee was so nice & extremely helpful n getting the chair in my car & strapped down. Will be back!”
“Loved it!! My cousin and I were welcomed into the shop. I asked her questions about a sewing project I wanted to do. She was very positive and said, "Come back!" Below are a couple of shirts I'd live to have my grandmother's doilies to.”
“Such a cute, little, fashionable boutique! They have both vintage and vintage-inspired clothing and accessories. It was a joy sifting through the vintage clothing as they were clearly well curated items. I had no intention of buying anything, but Michelle was so nice chatting us up, talking about the merchandise, I ended up buying a few items that were on trend and a vintage purse.Great experience overall. I can't wait to go back and check out new items”
“I love this store full of locally created artists! The soaps are such great quality , and it’s so fun to check out what they have. They’re pretty expensive though, and I would say that most things are highly overpriced. Still, it’s a great place to check out and buy a few goodies”
“Drove an hour and a half to go here the first time. We had a great time going down there, it was definitely worth the drive. It's been a couple hours in there and didn't even see everything there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to spend an afternoon.”

3337 Adams Ave, San Diego“Great experience here. Cozy vintage corner tucked next to Lestats. I always feel it's a great collection when I browse. The buyers have great taste, the items all have their own sense of attitude and "retro," and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. They always ask how are you and say hello when you come in.I walked in to buy a birthday card one day, and also grabbed a flyer on the counter about their monthly selling day, which was the following Sunday.I came back with 2 bags of my own clothes on said Sunday I've been meaning to get rid of, some of them already on apps for sale. The experience from check-in, the short waiting time which I enjoyed anyway browsing the store, and the value I got back for the items they picked was all really positive. You are able to choose between 30% cash back or 50% store credit for the value your items will be priced at by La Loupe. I was happy with this because I've been in stores that do a 20% / 40% ratio or even 20% / 30%. I ended up even finding 2 pairs of vintage Levi's jeans that were (finally) in my size, and they were not expensive either. These vintage jeans right now go from anywhere between $50-250 depending on their year, condition, etc and La Loupe's were definitely on the lowest end of that. OK bag em baybee! In addition to a colorful and fun assortment of vintage clothing they also carry new items from local brands: dainty gold jewelry, BAGGU bags, organic / clean beauty products, plant pots, candles, all the cute stuff for gifts from small businesses.Support small, reduce your carbon footprint, shop 2nd hand”
“The guy who runs this place is my local record guy for rock, punk, alternative, etc. He never lets me down. Always has a few new bands he knows I will like, and is a really chill dude, can't go wrong. Check this place out if you love music.”

“Great antique mall with something for everyone! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Nicely organized and items are reasonably priced. I'm glad to have stumbled upon this gem of a shop.”

2515 B St, San Diego“A lot to see in this semi-hidden Golden Hill neighborhood shop. A real dynamic selection of 1970s pottery, but also vintage art, wooden boxes, metaphysical accessories, quirky glasswear, jewelry and such. I've been here many times but there is always something different. Mostly handmade and unique things.”
“The Johnson House is an amazing find. It’s an old style clothing and hat shop in Old Town State Park, at the edge of the main plaza, Washington Square. The owner has an amazing knowledge of not only clothing and hats of the pioneer era, but is a wealth of knowledge regarding Old Town. We walked in just to find out about some of the amazing museums and replica era stores, and walked out with a great hat and bonnet. To me it was a wonderful find, because I have a big head, and I have trouble finding a hat to comfortably fit it. They have an expansive variety of 2XL hats, for which I was surprised to find. I would recommend visiting to not only find that unusual and authentic piece of clothing or headware, but just to find out something about the history of Old Town.”

3602 Kurtz St, San Diego“We were moving to another state and called several Estate Companies. They came to our home and told us that we had so much stuff and that what we needed was someone that would buy out all our stuff. They recommendedSteve Mattson's company. It was the best recommendation we ever got. Steve came within a few days, we told him what we were getting rid of, he made us an offer on all of it, which we accepted. The next day his workers showed up and took everything agreed upon. They were so fast, efficient, professional and polite. It was a God send for us. We had more stuff as we sorted our attic and storage and had Steve come back the next week and made an offer as before and his workers showed up the next day and did it again... fast, efficient, professional and polite. It was amazing to see them work. Our neighbor and our realtor have both asked for their name as they saw what was happening. They took everything including a toilet we had on the side of our house. I would give them more stars if I could. Mattson Company was the perfect solution for our needs. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting to clean out houses, apartments or storages. A TEN star company no doubt!!”
“I just went here for the first time a few weeks ago and it's wild. There is so much to look at and wander through, it's a bit overwhelming to say the least. However, it's a great way to spend a rainy day. If you're looking for something in specific it might be easier to navigate, otherwise I'd recommend just coming for fun to see what hidden treasures you can find.”

3817 Ray St, San Diego“I mean, if I were a store, this would be me. It's so fun, definitely can't go in there without at least trying and/or buying something. A mix of old and new, vintage, pre-owned, handcrafted accessories, clothes, shoes, etc. It's a fun store for sure.”
“If you are fun and funky and are missing something familiar. Hurry here! They speak your language! You can't move in, but you can revisit this eclectic assemblage of lovely items anytime and gift them away to others of our kind. Have fun, maybe a laugh.”

16787 Bernardo Center Dr A10B, San Diego“The best place to come for shopping for everthing, at list once a week. location is next to Trader's Joes in oceanside which make it very easy to stop by before shopping. The store open 7 days a week.”
“Consignment Classics is a great place to wander around and look for good buys on consignment goods. They have parking right outside on Hancock and the employees are friendly without being intrusive as you browse their goods. It’s a huge location with two floors inside and an outside display. Found some great pieces of furniture for our new place. Highly recommend.”
“Amazing dresses and even better customer service. My girlfriend was looking for a 1940’s dress and found the perfect one there at a reasonable price. They have a great selection of quality dresses from all eras!!!! We are definitely coming back soon! We also did not have an issue with the “handling” of the dresses. She was able to try on multiple “fragile” dresses with no issue.”

1219 University Ave, San Diego“Great place can find some grails here for sure and at amazing prices like amazing if you go to Buffalo exchange down the street you will be paying 13 dollars more for the same shirt. But definitely a lot of stuff you have to look through before you find the heat but if you look hard enough you can find some awesome pieces.
(Im mostly interested in clothes and fashion so in this review im talking about their clothing selection idk about furniture and other stuff but it also seems very good)”
“This store provides excellent opportunities for discovering bargains and is conveniently situated near the freeway with plenty of parking available. The range of products is wide, encompassing items from popular mall brands to luxury designers such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci.
Although the choices for semi-formal and formal wear are somewhat restricted, there is a diverse representation of other styles. The prices are more competitive compared to other resale stores in San Diego. Moreover, there is a vast assortment of shoes, although the collection of handbags and other accessories or jewelry is more limited. A fantastic discovery for residents of San Diego.”
“Was pleasantly surprised to see this place not only had some of the harder to find vintage pieces that usually go for higher price tags but also had affordable pieces to pair with the supreme, nike and palace they had available. Definitely the spot to go if you’re looking to find the rare designer collabs and subtle pieces to support the fit”
“Walked in after finding it on Google and walked out with 7 new pieces at a great price for vintage clothing. Carla at the front was extremely helpful and friendly. This will now be my go to for all vintage clothing!”
