We needed to open a new account so I called the branch and spoke with Jessenia. She was able to answer all my questions and was available for an appointment right away so my husband and I arrived 20 minutes later and she had all the documents Leo yes kit for us to sign and take home. We signed the account paperwork and she gave us the packet with our new account number and we were done!! I have been in banking for over thirty years and this was the best service I've ever seen. The bank was clean and well staffed and Jessmina was exceptional. Thank you for being excellent!!

Do these guys ever answer the phone? Third day now and no answer. I mean I don't know what else to do. The moderated call hangs up on its own. How do I speak to an actual living person??

I love this bank. Normally I would not review a bank, but you're reading this so- here you go. The inside of this bank feels like dated like walking back in time, but in a good way. People look up and smile and greet you. They're friendly! There is never a line or a wait. The employees remember you, they even ask how you're doing. Everything is done quickly and without a hassle. It does not feel corporate. That might not seem like it matters, but yes it does. What does corporate feel like- it feels like they don't care. This bank has a small town friendly vibe. If you're looking to join a bank- us bank has been the best in my experience over the years. The app is really easy to use as well.

Worst service. The Newport branch ATM issued me a torn 20, 75% complete. My home branch on Newport refused to exchange the bill. Thanks for nothing!! Would not help me at all with a claim or anything else. Useless tellers, poor service.

They started charging me $15 per month, "monthly maintenance fee" because I could not afford to put $100 per month in my savings (They originally did some scammer scheme and were not honest). They say that you are charged an overdraft fee after 1 week. While I have been charged about 20 overdraft fees of $36.99 after less then 24 hours of my account being overdrafted. They just charge it the next business day. So if I overdraft it Monday at 8am then right around midnight (when Tuesday starts) I am charged $36.99. Often times I have had to frantically dig through couch and my car then beg my family for $5 or $7. Also their mobile app and mobile website no longer work on my cell phone. It just deletes everything I type in and I have to try to log in 20 times. I am forced to zoom in on the desktop website and squint my eyes so check my balance and make sure I do not get charged $36.99. There have been times when I potentially could have been rendered unable to pay my rent and possibly be forced to move back in with my parents because US Bank charged me $36.99 then I could not pay it. They will then proceed to adding another $25 fee over and over. Luckily my family lent me money. Otherwise it would gave got so high that when I got my direct deposit all my rent money would go to US Bank's fees. They have probably made people homeless, ruined lives, etc. I am a poor college student and US bank expolited me. I am so infuriated that I am going to do whatever it takes to smear their reputation. This Bank expolits poor college students.Take from the poor give to the rich. Im going to sue them if possible.

So if you bring them a check that is drawn on ONE OF THEIR ACCOUNTS, they will still charge you $7 to cash it if you don't bank with them. $7 on a $70check. No thanks. And by the way this is a terrible way to get new customers. "Hey, we'll stop screwing you if you bank with us".

Typical crooked large bank. Charged me an extended overdraft fee and called me AFTER they charged me the fee to tell me my account was overdrawn, then refused to reverse it. Do yourselves a favor and open your accounts with Simple Bank. They are friendly, pick up the phone immediately, and NEVER CHARGE ANY FEES. As soon they they offer business checking accounts I can leave this POS bank for good.
