I used to love this store and would shop here a few times a month but things have really gone down hill in the last few months. Being a regular, I appreciated that the staff remembered me by name every time I came in and knew to look me up in their rewards program, but that doesn't happen anymore. The store used to be really clean and organized but now it's dusty and cluttered. The last time I was there I was trying on sunglasses and every pair was smudged with fingerprints. And a long dress I was looking at was completely covered in dust on the bottom where it had brushed against the floor. The displays on the front table have been messy and unappealing. Typically the clothing brands were grouped together but now they're all scattered around the store. I'm a big fan of Roxy and always knew where to go in the store to find it but now I have to search all over. The staff used to be on the floor interacting with customers but now they always seems to be congregated behind the counter chatting and ignoring the shoppers. Sometimes I've been standing at the counter waiting to check out for minutes before someone realizes I'm there and addresses me. I've also overheard the staff talking rudely about other customers which is really disappointing. I've continued to shop here for months despite the obvious disarray because I really love the brands they carry, but after my last experience I won't be returning. I wanted to know if a dress was available in a certain size so I went to the counter to ask. Two younger girls were standing there chatting completely oblivious to me and a blonde woman was working on the computer. She looked up and saw me standing there but then went back to what she was doing without acknowledging me. I finally spoke up and said I needed help and she just stared at me with an annoyed look. I asked my question and she rudely replied that all the sizes were on the floor so if I didn't see it they didn't have it then went back to working on the computer. I was going to buy a couple of other items but was so appalled by her behavior that I just set them down and walked out. Such a disappointment because I really used to love this store.

My wife prohibited me from entering this store. I love everything they have, I mean everything. I bought shirts, jackets, candles, coasters, keyrings, wallets, neckless, stickers, flipflops, shoes .......... The staff is awesome!

It's a cool store and I really like the shirt I got. Great selection, variety, and friendly staff. I was a bit put off by asking for a tip on my clothing transaction. Are we tipping on absolutely everything now?

I never write reviews but I had such a pleasant experience in this shop this morning. I was doing some Christmas shopping at One Paseo and wandered in not really knowing what I was looking for. Immediately I was greeted by a woman with glasses who asked if I needed help finding anything. I told her I was Christmas shopping for a few people in my family and she gave me a bunch of great ideas for each one of them. She was very knowledgeable and helpful and I ended up buying quite a few gifts. She even recommended a great adjustable belt for my brother who is very difficult to shop for. She appeared to be working alone but devoted all her attention to me which really meant a lot. Then when she was ringing me up she offered to gift wrap my items. I had quite a few things but she didn't seem bothered by it. She even labeled the bottoms of the gift bags so I'd be able to tell them apart. Apart from the great customer service the store was very neat and clean. I know it was early in the morning but you could tell it was really taken care of. I'm not sure if this woman was the owner or not but you could tell she had a lot of pride in the store. If not I hope the owners know what a gem of an employee they have!

Going to one paseo is a fun date night, it’s easy and fun and a little retail therapy is always nice. We love Urban Beach House, and another reviewer said it perfectly, there’s a little something for everyone. I’ve never had any bad vibes with the store and the shopping experience

I love the clothes, I love the accessories. And usually the staff is great and start a conversation, but this time I went in with a few of my family members and I completely understand it’s annoying when it’s so close to closing down the store and the three girls were annoyed. But they started snickering at a couple buying a water bottle, and when they left, a brunette with a pink shirt made fun of them for not being able to decide calling them d**** And then when my mom put on her glasses to check the price on a ring the three girls started laughing at her, the worst thing is that we were all speaking Spanish so they were making fun of us in English thinking we didn’t understand but we understood everything. I love this store but this experience was completely awful.

While looking around I found some really great boardshorts but but didn't see them in my size so I took them to the counter and spoke with the manager. They didn't have my size in stock at this location but had them at another. She was super helpful and had them transferred here within a few days. Great store and great staff!

Why is there a tipping option? This is a regular clothing store. Can you not afford to pay your employees, either? For what, having the two workers just sit on the counter and talk the entire time? Pay your employees, stop this tipping nonsense. Otherwise though, a pretty good store, good selection.

So so adorable! The essence of Del Mar… great selection with an adorable West Coast beach personable vibe. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Had to find last minute gifts and found something for everybody at this store. Adults, male & female, teens and toddlers. The girl who helped me was Lillian and she was super helpful with suggestions. They were the only store open that late and they wrapped too!

I was in this store the other day and the girl working was very helpful I think her name was Emma she helped me find sizes and picked out some outfits I never would have picked for myself but looked amazing! The selection is awesome and they have some great jewelry. I got some stuff for myself and my boyfriend. I am a north county local and will definitely be back!
