Lost a customer. When you say you open at 11 then you should be open. I waited an extra hour just to come in and buy something.

I didn’t catch her name but the girl who was working March 15th in the evening with brown curly hair was extremely rude. I came in around 6:45pm and she stopped me and said she was helping her last customer. I just said oh I thought you were open until 8 (since that’s what it says online) and she said with an attitude weekdays the shop is open until 7. So I apologized and said thank you and she rolled her eyes. 1.) I wouldn’t have come into the store if I knew it closed at 7:00 and 2.) There were 15 minutes left before close when I came in. She is not a good representation of the boutique at all and it’s a shame because it’s super adorable and I’m disappointed didn’t get a chance to look around before I left town.

Cute store with some great finds! Men & women's wear, really nice flip flops for all, beachy items and some super unique items. A little pricey, but high quality stuff and a great selection. Totally worth it!

Bottom Line: A stylish and lovely home goods and clothing boutique in The Headquarters. Urban Beach House is a great store in the newish "The Headquarters" shopping center. This name is perfectly fitting for the home decor that is sold there. They have fun pieces that are nautical, San Diego and California themed. If you want to show your SoCal pride, this is a great place for tourists and residents alike to load up on fun pillows, catchy signs and anchor decor. The store also has lovely accessories and some clothing. Think roman sandals, floppy bean hats and flowy scarves. It's a perfect place to grab a gift for yourself or someone else. I definitely wish I had had more time to shop around here!

Came here for a gift certificate for the Busker Festival when they had a Facebook sign in deal and even though I didn't purchase anything at this shop, I will say it is the cutest little space and the shop owner is a really nice lady. They have adorable novelty items in the shop, as well as some great beach gear and household items. If you've got some money to spend, want cute items and want to support a local business, please give it a visit!

Such a cute little store! And the staff were helpful and friendly! A little pricey but they had some good sales so look for those deals. Lots of flip flops, beach apparel (for both men and women) and other casual clothes. Really cute stuff, too. Check it out if you are in the area.

Beautiful store! Don't let the 'souvenir store' initial impression blind you! This is an awesome boutique and in fact I was the one stopping my friends at the beginning to enter and browse...and then...I succumbed to temptation as well! At the entrance it does not make much difference with other souvenir stores catering the tourists staying at the nearby hotels at the Headquarters. But once you pass the San Diego mugs, the cut frame coastal maps, and all these trinkets you will find a lot of treasures with a lot of nautical motives. There are many hippie-chic airy dresses, and one of my friends looks like just out from a fairy tale, so all the clothing seem to match very well for the skinny blonde with a touch of tan. For me was mostly the cute unique jewelry (mostly local designers) and the good quality super soft cotton shirts. Cute colorful hats to pamper your style when you go at the beach as well. Staff very friendly and zero pressure. And oh yes, that neat dressing room!
