Great place for food shopping. Can't find everything you'd get at a regular supermarket, but I really like Trader Joe's. They subscribe to a higher ethical standard than most big chain markets. Lots of interesting food choices here, as well pretty women shopping most days. I DEFINITELY LIKE TRADER JOE'S!

I like this Trader Joe's but dislike the changes they made in the item placement. They use to have chips in the last aisle before the registers. Now they put canned goods and other staple/essential items there. Completely throws off the flow for my shopping trips. Sometimes I have to backtrack to get something else based on something I find in this aisle...and sometimes I just can't be bothered and just decide not to get things because I don't want to backtrack. And NEVER EVER go on a Sunday. The church makes parking a nightmare! They don't all abide by the signs stating they have to park in the back area and when they get out of there mega service they take over the parking lot and do NOT let anyone in.

A little small and the parking lot is tight, but it's Trader Joe's! Fully stoced with the usual TJ fun interpretation of a grocery store.

I recently visited the Trader Joe's in San Diego during my stay at a nearby hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed! The store was a one-stop-shop for all my needs, making it extremely convenient. The aisles were well-organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. What stood out to me the most was how toddler-friendly the store was. They had a great selection of healthy snacks and food options perfect for little ones, which is not always easy to find. The atmosphere of the store was welcoming, and my toddler enjoyed the shopping experience as much as I did.The location of this Trader Joe's is ideal, especially for travelers staying in nearby hotels. It was a short walk from our hotel, which made it easy to pop in for anything we needed during our stay.Overall, I highly recommend this Trader Joe's location to anyone visiting San Diego, especially those traveling with young children. It's a great spot to quickly and easily pick up high-quality groceries and snacks.

The parking situation here is dangerous. The giant school and church next door cause a lot of foot traffic AND car traffic. Highly recommend entering from Roosevelt, not Wimbledon. Avoid going at noon or 3pm, unless you're trying to hit a kid. Avoid Sundays at all costs. Otherwise the store is great! The employees are the friendliest!

The staff is kind. The products are tasty. Only 4 stars because they no longer carry my favorite grain bread.

I love this TJ's but this one the most! They're so efficient and they remember us whenever we stop by. I want to give a huge shoutout to Sasha. He made my sons night on Monday. He let him help, taught him how to enter info on the register, gave him a little Trader Joe's name tag, and after telling him we found Taylor the turtle (their store mascot) - he got a Lolly! I was a bit worried about the line but he had a very kind way about him that it seemed not to bother anyone in line my son was slowin the line ! Sasha, thank you! My son said it was the" best day ever"!

When one has been shopping at Trader Joes for 30+ years, one develops favorites, and these may change as the "culture" changes. Trader Joes Liberty Station is now at the bottom of my list. First and most frustrating of all is they have a parking problem and no one in the store will admit it. Rumor is that the Rock Church contributes to that, but why not have someone monitoring the lot so the rest of us don't have to drive round and round? I told one of the (male) checkers about my difficulty finding a parking place and that I rarely had any problems at Trader Joes Mission Valley. He didn't apologize but instead responded (in a surly manner) "you are the first person who ever said you didn't have trouble finding parking at the Mission Valley store. And that seems to be another problem Liberty Trader Joes has: an attitude problem, mostly with the male employees. The Mission Valley store has its issues, but as for the Pt. Loma store: stay far far away.
