Just wanted to thank Gabriel Grande for his help today. I went to home depot without knowing anything about pre hang doors so he helped me with everything. Answered all my questions and even gave me advice about buying the door. He's a good one, he deserves a raise & and award!!!!!

Every employee at this location over the age of 45 must really hate their lives because I have never once had a positive interaction with any of them. It's like they ask the younger employees to stick to register and stocking, but when someone needs help finding a specific product, they send you a 50 year old dad who would rather be anywhere else and will try to make you feel stupid for not knowing everything about tools. Y'all are mega rude.

This was my experience with Customer Service the last time I visited this location. I was returning a 1/4" snake auger (for clearing clogged drains) which was $19.99 and BRAND NEW (snake end tip was still shrink wrapped sealed, and the metal snake still had the packaging lube seen inside the take up spool, and had the instructions intact. Well the older white male who served me impolitely said it's not returnable. I didn't recently have a chance to say hello, and he just said he won't refund it, no ifs ands or buts. He said it was a safety hazard and said he won't return it. I told him, "Look sir! It's brand new, I purchased a liquid Drain-O like solution from Home Depot the day before on the same purchase which worked so well, the snake auger wasn't needed. I told him I wasn't told that the snake auger was not returnable at the time of purchase. The guy yelled over me to the next customer in line, and said "Next!" I've never been treated so rudely, so disrespected, and with no effort or attempt to see the issue from my viewpoint/position. I went to the cashiers area, got a hold of a supervisor who earnestly listened to my concern, and directed another cashier to help refund my purchase. Thankfully, my issue was able to be resolved with unnecessary efforts on my part to fix what I believed was blatant disregard for understanding my request for a refund of a brand new item, which once restocked, no one would ever know that it was previously a returned item since it was never used. I hate to say it, but the issue at customer service felt like blatant bias/prejudice/discrimination power being displayed by the employee towards me. That is the only reason I'm leaving this review. I mentioned this to the supervisor who assisted me with refunding my item, and while he did resolve that part, he did not look interested in addressing the discourteous treatment one of their employees had reportedly projected towards one of their shopping patrons.

For instore items their very good, but if you are buying one of those large items that was half discounted like a 212cc rear tiller @74%discount sounds great huh! well it's Lindenhurst coming thru ABF less than a truck load company expect longer than a month and when you cap their tracking is always concierge down to look at ABF ONLINE tracking its delay after delay..... if you need the job done you bought the item for better to take a 10%in store discount at least you can get your job done on time.... highly do not recommend.

If you shop at this location and want to get what you want. I do recommend you ask a young Clark for assistance. Because those elderly man there willing ask " how can we help you". But they are not willing to help. "Our store smaller then the others and we don't carry that much stuff here" . They are not thinking outside of their location that " there are multiple locations of Home Depot might carry the items I want. " this is the first Home Depot I have encountered such experience.

Extreme heat in San Diego visit here from the desert and cooler there. In wheelchair and hotel is hot so we looked everywhere. I started crying in the store and an angel Chuck appeared and helped me find a strong one! Thank you for being excellent at customer service AND empathetic!

Terrible service. Purchased cabinets back in November of 2021. Back ordered and we're not installed until April 2022.... Minus two doors. Installer said two doors were wrong size and would have to order new sizes. It is now the end of August and I still do not have these doors. I paid $26K upfront and this has been a total nightmare. Nobody answers their phones and Home Depot takes zero responsibility for their installation contractors. They hire and fire on a daily basis so the turnover is high. Do not do business with them. You will end up getting ripped off and be left trying to communicate with the most unprofessional people. This is your warning. Do not use Home Depot.

One Garden register open with 14 people in line. Please tell me what is wrong here? I would go to Lowes next time. Other person at the register is having difficulties making signs. Learn the strengths of your employees and maximize efficiency. Besides- signage should be done in the beginning or ending of the business.

On 07/02/22, I was at Home Depot located at: 355 Marketplace Avenue, San Diego. I injured my leg and foot when I reached up to get a brick . 3 bricks just started to fall off the rack. One of those small bricks fell on the left outer side of my knee and landed on my foot. A huge knot, size of a golf ball developed on my left leg. Manager took my information and was told Home Depot would contact me. Manager didn't even take pictures of the injury. He did offer first aid. Went home after that and put ice. An hour later, I couldn't even walk. Went to Kaiser. Luckily, no broken bones. Couldn't walk for 4 days. Still no call from Home depot. Teresita

If you are disabled and elderly we rly, not of the majority population of employees they don't give a damn about your needs with their products that are obviously too heavy for you to carry. Lemon Grove will now get my exclusive patronage.

The big guy working the tool section needs to learn about customer service. Guys got a chip on his shoulder or something and acts like he owns the department. Same dude had an attitude trying to get his help the previous visit trying to buy a tool. Visited today and he acts like I'm supposed to find my own help getting a locked tool out. Not sure how many people have skipped buying tools from here because of this tool.
