San Diego downtown is a bit rough, HOWEVER, step into the Westgate Hotel and you are in a beautiful space. It is so plush and welcoming. You can feel your cares melting away. We are on a Stay-cation and meeting up with our friends from Florida. Cindy and I went to tea today....ahh lovely!

The Westgate Hotel is a beautiful hotel with classic decors! The room is spacious and spotless, the staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. The location is superb with easy walk to port sights and Gaslamp quarter. I strongly recommend this hotel.

A really nice hotel with excellent service. The room service was amazing and the most important the bed was really comfortable.
