We had an amazing stay at the Dana in mission bay, the service was outstanding the resort is very cozy tans the rooms are clean with very comfy beds would definitely come again and highly recommended for friends and family

What a wonderful get away. They've done an amazing job of isolating this property from all the busy world around it, with an immersive, lush, tropical appeal. The grounds staff do an amazing job of upkeeping the property. There is apparently a Crack team of ninjas that slide in and completely refresh your room faster than you could notice them. These are the real heros here, the place is so well maintained! The on-site restaurant is a gem and a weakness. Yes they have very tasty and attractive dishes however this is also my only issue with the place. There really aren't other dining facilities that are pedestrian accessible from here, and the On-site dining is not really friendly to a family; with very limited choices. This should be more robust, so plan on traveling to eat. Brings to mind one thing that would make this perfect....right now you have to drive over to the beach and circle for parking; a shuttle down to the beach and Belmont park would be amazing, I would gladly pay a few extra for that! We stayed here for a week, and I'll be back. Nicely done folks.

My wife dog and I absolutely loved it here. It’s like a hidden resort! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming especially to our golden retriever!!!

Definitely resort type feel. Some of the rooms are very small though. Perfect loc - just under a mile to the beach

The property is wonderful, and the location is amazing, but they need to refurbish their pools and make the one with the bar an adults only pool. I am sorry, but I have raised my kids and really enjoy the piece of no kids from time to time.

This place was beautiful. However for $500+ a night, and them saying someone was working on cleaning our room prior to giving us our key cards, I do believe was false. There was dust all over the headboard where your head literally touches if you are sitting up in bed. There was also ants on my bed that were very much alive. I took a video, but I will post a screenshot from the video I took, of what I originally seen when I was checking for bed bugs and discovered the ants. With that being said, I believe the room shouldn't have been more than $350 a night. Would I stay here again? Probably, but would also see what other options were available prior to booking again.
Nearby activities: They had a pool with a dj. Night swimming with a movie playing. They had nearby water crafts to use.

Great room(Jr suite), really nice staff. Haven't eaten much besides the basic breakfast buffet. The one massive complaint I have is an absolutely terrible wifi system here. It's 3rd world trash, and I'm assuming it's this bad because they want you to spend 15.00 to upgrade to their "enhanced' wifi. Come on, I've already spent a good clip just staying here. Give me some decent wifi. Can't even search Google for local restaurants or things do while I'm in my room.

Shower, bathtub and water pressure were horrible. Called for help and Amy said to just put a washcloth in the drain to plug it so my son might be able to take a bath. Horrible service. Asked for a manager and one never called back. Dirty room. No floor space for suitcases. Bugs. Walls are so thin that someone watching tv in the next room will completely derail your sleep.

Super clean rooms. Great location. It is an older place so the rooms and bathrooms are very small for what I think of when I think of a resort. But we weren't there to spend time in the room. The $30 a night for parking seemed excessive.
