I can't say enough about Chris and The Change Fitness. I didn't believe 1/2 hour per week could make a difference, but it has. Maybe not with everybody, but Chris has made a noticeable difference in how I look and feel. Change Fitness has made me rethink everything I thought I new about training and in the process, taken away all the really good excuses I used for years to do nothing. I began working out with Chris Kanakaris at The Change Fitness 8 years ago to help strengthen my back and reverse or stop osteoporosis, which it has. I love the fact that the strength training he teaches is most effective by increasing weight, not duration. I was working out twice a week (best results) for 30 minutes each, and now work out once a week. Chris is very knowledgeable about human anatomy and physiology, and adjusts my exercises when I have aches and pains (I'm 70 years old). He also practices Egoscue, which has been a lifesaver when I have back, neck or shoulder pains. I've referred a number of people just for the Egoscue, and they've become workout clients.

This is a great workout! Chris is quite knowledgeable in body dynamics and various workout styles and nutrition. He designed a workout specific to me in order to meet my goals as well as my limitations. He constantly updates and tweaks my workout to address new needs and to keep my body guessing. The workout is very quick, just 30 minutes, and very complete. My muscles feel activated and spent in the best way. Chris can push me to get the best workout possible in ways I cannot push myself. I look forward to my workout every week and feel like I can spend my active time pursuing fun, rather than endless hours in the gym. I feel strong and balanced. Thanks Chris and The Change Workout.

I started with The Change Fitness 5 years ago. After trying other gyms, there is nothing that can compare to the results achieved at The Change Fitness. The workout is relatively short, done within 30 minutes, which is a plus in this day and age. A program is tailored for me individually, with each workout getting progressively more intense. My husband was so impressed with my results that he joined as well. We feel stronger, have more endurance, better mobility and have improved our general health and lab tests as well. Chris, the owner has vast knowledge of diet and exercise information, an extensive library on health and fitness related books, and has state of the art equipment in the gym. There are two locations, one in Poway and one in Mission Hills. Best decision we ever made. Come try it out, your life will change for the better.

I've been working out with Chris for 10 years. He really is great. He's very knowledgeable in body dynamics as well as nutrition and he takes an interest in me. He listens to my needs and customizes my workout according to what I want to achieve or how I am feeling that day. I enjoy and look forward to our weekly workouts. They are tough, but efficient and I'm in and out in 30 minutes. I feel spent, but strong. Fantastic!

I have committed myself to Chris at the Change Fitness for over 10 years. The results are remarkable. I have tried other methods of fitness and excercise none with the results of slow burn. The real beauty of it is that it only takes 20-30 minutes, I get many compliments on how fit I look for my age. Chris also gives excellent and professional advice on nutrition. Chris is a gem no one should be without. Just do it!

The most efficient and effective system for exercise. You only need to work out 30 minutes,twice a week to be in Very Good shape. Chris Kanakaris knows his training like the palm of his hand! I would definitely recommend his gym and personal style of exercises for a long a healthy life!!
