Lowest prices for gas in Metropolitan San Diego with easy access to the 8 Freeway and North Park. Not too busy most hours.

Home of the most unfriendly and dubious gas station. Stopped here to add little gas to my car. I put $5. But it seemed my electronic gauge didn't register that at all. Spoke to manager and asked him when was his gas station calibrated last time with department of weights and measurements to ensure it measured gas properly. I did say it seemed that very little gas came out certainly not 1.2 gallons. He said it's none of my business and he will not show me or discuss it! HmmmMaybe my car was not registering 1+ gallon of gas I added. Unlikely as my gas tank was near empty. More than likely this gas station cheats the customers.

Prices are usually good, but never seems to have window washing squeegees available since 2020.

Today I bought $68 worth of gas on my debit card. Later that evening I discovered they had put a $150 hold on the account! Straw that broke the Camel's back because the employee's are rude, the soda's are often past the expiration date, and the pumps regularly run out of paper for receipts. If you're a good looking female, they're friendly as can be, but when you leave, they slobber and make sexist jokes in front of other customers.

I like this place because it has actual diesel not biodiesel. Everyplace is switching to it now. It sucks.

I'm on crutches and opening doors is hard. The guy working there came out from behind the counter to help me. First place I've been to with that kind of service.

One of there pumps at this Valero had a chip reader on it and I got caught. I've stopped twice to let them know I'd been hacked at one of their pumps. Both counter staff gave me the official handbook answer "we are Only responsible for what happens in the shop not for anything that happens outside ". (From the cash register they face out the door to the pump the chip reader was on.) Seems like they could maybe say yes, yes we will let the owner know instead of stand there and cover their asses. I suggest if you have to go there consider using cash No cards.

Yeah, this place is convenient but it's not worth it. The gas machines have skimmers that steal your information, the worst part is that the workers do nothing about it. Also me and my son were just in there and we got gas. I understand that there isn't a public restroom. However it was an emergency and it was clearly an emergency and the older man said no we don't have a bathroom here. I said yes you do, come on he's really going to pee his pants, can you please let him use the restroom. And he said no we walk two blocks to use the bathroom at this other place. And I said come on every time you have to pee you walk two blocks do you shut the gas station down? Anyway long story short my son peed his pants right there and the worker didn't care one bit. That man is a dick. Wow.

BE AWARE: This place is known to have had chip readers at the pump. Several of my friends had their credit card info. captured and used. BE CAREFUL! Pay inside or use Apple Pay. The workers don't seem concerned about this ongoing issue.

Price of gas using a debit card is the same as using a credit card. Maybe it has always been this way and I just noticed at my last fill-up.
