Love this place. The people there were fun and outgoing. We're real easy to joke with. The clothing top notch. You can get your boards here clothing here hats here all the types of clothing wear that I like. Recommend this place for shopping

Love getting racially profiled by white teenagers who make minimum wage. Not very welcoming and only got stalked when my salary is 4 times more then these teens make.

Great except for the fact that the bathing suits are hung on why wouldn't hangers and it makes it impossible to shop bathing suits. They should put the bathing suits on skinny hangers and also not hang them up so high

i walked in this store and first off no acknowledgement from employees. As i started walking around store employee named Gianna passed by me and gave me a very dirty look and rolled her eyes at me as i walked passed her. After that i felt really uncomfortable shopping and being there and will probably be my last time shopping there.

This store is “ran” by teenagers. The “employees” had all their friends in the store having a good ole time with personal conversations. They were more concerned with their friends then customers. I even witnessed an interaction where the girl employee was running the dressing room and her friends were sitting there and they were having personal conversations. A customer walked out and the girl said to the customer “how did everything work out” and he replied then she didn’t even acknowledge but went back continue talking to her friends. He thought she was talking to him so he turned back to her and she clearly looked at him like he was d*** & her and her friends laughed at him. These employees need some serious customer service training and perhaps someone overseeing them.

Went searching for decent clothing for my teen on a busy Friday....and Cary was extremely helpful. They also carry Vuori brand for men & women! Good shopping experience.

We visited about 6 or 7 different skate shops around San Diego looking for longboards, and Sun Diego had the best selection of longboards, specifically. (Though it looks like there are no skateboards to be found, I swear they have them-- you just have to go on a treasure hunt to the very back of the store by the dressing rooms). And speaking of treasure, their longboard selection is golden! They had lots of different brands to choose from, including Landyachtz, Sector 9, Arbor, and more. Of all the skate shops we looked at, Sun Diego had the biggest selection of longboards and coolest deck designs. If you're looking for a longboard, I'd recommend making Sun Diego your first stop. PS- Erin was awesome and very helpful.

Just saw an exchange between a former customer and an employee. The customer was trying to return or exchange a pair of shoes that he purchased a month prior. The issue was that the customer bought a pair of size 9 shoes, it says that on his receipt and on the box, but inside the box was size 7.5 shoes (Maybe I'm not remembering the sizes 100% but it was along those lines). He claimed to have not noticed because he'd only worn the shoes a handful of times after buying them and that they still somewhat fit, just very tightly. He says he didn't immediately realize the issue because the box and receipt said size 9 so why wouldn't the shoes be size 9? If they fit tightly that was on him, he should have got a size 9.5 or size 10 instead. But no, the shoes ended up being size 7.5 and the person that sold him the shoes is at fault. To clarify once more, he was given a size 9 box and paid for size 9 shoes, with size 7.5 shoes inside, that's basically fraud.He was trying his best to keep his cool and rationally explain the situation, but the employee he was talking to was being extremely rude. She wasn't taking his word for anything, as if he's trying to scam them. I don't see that would have worked, he just to happened to have a pair of 7.5 shoes and a size 9 shoe box for the same shoes and decided to make a quick buck at this particular store? Any rational person wouldn't see this as a scam and wouldn't have been so rude, they would have understood his situation and EVEN if he didn't qualify for a refund they would have felt for him and tried to work something out. But no, the employee was basically belittling him. She even told him to PUT ON THE SHOES to prove they fit too tight on his foot. How is that at all appropriate behavior? I left the store that moment because I started to get heated. Super dismissive and rude employees. Her manager was standing 5 feet away and listening to the entire interaction and said nothing.I don't know how the situation ended up, maybe he did end up getting a refund after I left but even if he didn't qualify for a refund (no matter the situation) that was still entirely inappropriate. I know this doesn't mean anything to a big business but if that's how they handle disputes (for issues that are THEIR OWN FAULT) than I'm never shopping at that location and going to encourage others to avoid it as well.

Lance delivered exceptional customer service. He helped me build a cruiser board and I couldn't be more satisfied with how it turned out. They have a big skateboard selection in the back corner that can be easy to miss. Highly recommend this shop!
