My husband has supported this business for 5 years instead of the Chevron gas station next door because he wanted to support a owner operated business.The owner charged him at the register a higher price than what was advertised and my husband kindly showed him what was advertised.The owner ended up ripping the advertised price down saying he will not honor the .50 cent difference price for a loyal customer.Tough times out there.I will no longer support this business and will just go next door (Chevron) where prices are cheaper.

Starlight Market is located in a small business strip-mall with ample parking available. Sam is open regular hours and greets you with a smile every time. Store interior is clean, well organized and ample inventory. It's a one-stop shopping experience with decent price range. Well worth a stop .... food items, snacks, candy, beverages of all kinds, pet food, and more!!

This place is absolutely amazing. Sam is such a nice man, super caring, always asks how I am. They have so much more on stock than normal convenient stores. The ultimate one stop shop, you can find almost anything here. Give these guys business cause they so richly deserve it. Thanks for running such a good business ??

The owners are probably the friendliest people in San Diego/La Mesa. They are happy to be alive anything beyond that is a happy and welcome blessing. You could be having a bad day but if you give them a chance, you will be in a good mood as you leave with your purchase. Their shop is always clean and stock is full. Highly recommend this shop!!!
