I've been going to Staples for years in PB. I think things started to slip when they re-opened after a remodel a number of years ago. I purchased a couple of picture frames a couple of months ago, but they were the wrong size. After pulling the back off of the 8X10 frame, I couldn't get it back on, it was defective. I couldn't find my receipt, but I had my Rewards ticket. All I wanted to do was exchange them for the proper size frames. I'm not sure if the cashier needed a break or was just having a bad day, but he wasn't letting me finish my sentences. He said the "system" wouldn't let him in and do anything. Huh? That's really not my problem, that's a weakness in Staples' policies and procedures. I said I could not use the frames. They weren't expensive, and I don't need more clutter because of someone's gross incompetence at corporate (I didn't say that reason to him, just posting it here). He said he was just going to throw and away and I said ok, turned and left. I'll be going to Warwick's in the village from now on for all of my stationers needs, and I suggest everyone else who can to do the same. Let's support our local merchants by keeping it local. I'm DONE!

As I am no tech savvy person, I couldn't have asked for better support in making a confident decision on purchasing my new printer and laptop ... while also saving money!
Knowing most repairs - if any are needed, can be done on site and at such a convenient location is an added plus!

Jose at the Pacific Beach location was super helpful! He was incredibly knowledgable about the product we were interested in, he was very kind and patient, and walked us through every detail from conversations about the product, to helping us at the checkout stand and even assisting us to our car to load the product. Jose was the absolute best!!! Thank you, Jose! Thank you, Staples.

Miss mama who told me where Precheck seemed upset that I interrupted they little convo but when I got to doing my Precheck, oh I HAD A GOOD OLE TIME WITH MY HOMIE CHUY! CHUY you were amazing, you were informative, you made me feel comfortable, we talked about my last name cause its French and let me know how the people in France say "french toast." 99 out of 10 CHUY YOU KEEP IT UP MY DUDE!

When I requested to have an ID card laminated, I was told that I would have to wait an hour. That's pretty poor service.

Extremely difficult experience where I needed to laminate a Business Card; nothing more than running card through laminating machine (which was sitting right in front). Store clerk said only way they would do it same day was to charge an express fee. I declined and will do FedEx Self Serve tomorrow. Given how bad this experience was, it is doubtful I will ever return to Staples again; and yes I have been a regular there for my property management business for many years.

There apparently was only 1 cashier who knew how to deal with my purchase (Manufacturer Coupon) and had to wait until he came off break... I would have thought the other(s) on duty would have paid attention to the sale, should they run into the issue.
They also didn't have the item in stock yet their App showed it as a 1 hour pickup... If you see a "1 hour pickup" - Don't go to Staples without trying to order it... Order it, and wait for a few minutes to see if you get and email telling you they don't have it in stock..
