Alan was amazing. 10/10. Speed, accuracy and funny. Going to the phone store is like the dentist… but it wasn’t stressful or painful at all this time. It’s a rough economy right now and i truly appreciate people who still can laugh and give great service. This will be more location moving forward. Highly recommend.

I was just at this location and the girl working behind the counter, Sarah was so helpful and had the best attitude. I think she should be recognized for her amazing work ethic and customer service skills. I do hope her manager see this and recognizes for her exceptional service.

SCAMMERS and THIEVES, the whole company. Finally got rid of the TV that was "only $20" when I signed up. Fast forward to the present, not only has the price doubled, but they've added more surcharges related to the TV service so now the service cost over $65 in total. They've now made almost $400 off of me just on TV service alone that should have cost $100. Don't get sucked into their "deals" that they only give you so they can charge you more surcharges then boost the price up 6 months later. Then when you go to cancel, they'll tell you they don't prorate and you just lose the rest of the time on the cycle and get nothing for what you paid for. And it's all legal for them to do and yes they are doing it. Corporate Greed at it's finest!

Review is for customer service received at the Mira Mesa Spectrum location. My one-star rating is based solely on my interaction with the FIRST sales rep that I encountered. The SECOND rep was wonderfully helpful, five stars for him) ***AVOID SONYA AT ALL COSTS.*** (or Sonia, spelling?) Short version: I went to this location to switch our mobile service from AT&T to Spectrum, wanting to keep our current phones and phone numbers. Sonya told us that our phones weren't compatible with the switch and immediately started selling us on trading in our phones to buy new ones from Spectrum. We left. I checked Spectrums' website, entered our IMEI #s, and learned that BOTH phones were, in fact, compatible. Went back to Spectrum and spoke with a helpful young man (because Sonya was on break. Unfortunately, I can't remember his name). "Miraculously," we were able to switch our phones to Spectrum with NOT ONE SINGLE ISSUE. Left within 15 mins. Long version: Sonya tells us our phones aren't compatible. I began asking questions, trying to learn exactly "what" about our phones wasn't "compatible" with switching (is this something I need to take up with AT&T? Is it because of the model of the phone? How old they are? (They're not old, btw)....ETC). She could not provide any answers or even make a guess based on her previous experiences. There was no effort on her part to try and explain possible reasons why our phones weren't compatible, and she kept bringing up trade-in options, telling us how much money we would "still be saving." I politely, but assertively, told her we were not interested in trade-in options until we finished exploring why our phones wouldn't work. After AGAIN getting my questions brushed over, we left the store. I went to Spectrums' website, where I learned the truth. By the time we had returned, Sonya was, luckily, on a break, and a nice young man helped us. I told him what I found on the website, and he offered to look further into it. He could not seem to find any reason why our phones would have shown "non-compatible" in the first place. He helped us through the transfer with NOT ONE SINGLE ISSUE. Sonya had returned from her break by the time we were getting our phones powered back on. She asked us if we had to get AT&T to do something to our phones to make them compatible. I told her, "No, they didn't need to do anything." And I watched her attempt to bring her best "surprised" customer-service expression to her face, as I looked to the young man and thanked him very much for his help. I wanted so badly to warn the woman that I saw Sonya helping as we were walking out. I understand the company has protocols on how to upsell customers, and I understand the sales reps work for commission. What I do not understand, and what I am not happy about, is the BLATANT LIE that Sonya told us in order to make her commission. But hopefully, saying something here will help prevent someone else from getting scammed by Sonya. I have no review about the Spectrum mobile service itself, as I have just transferred today. I wish I remembered the young man's name that helped us. He was excellent!

Recently my partner experienced a broken phone situation. Associates Carlo and Jose helped her get the ball rolling in a timely manner. Carlo helped with expediting the previous phone and transferring to an upgraded new phone. The ball was then passed to Jose and he helped with the setup and transfer of data. Both did a great job to remedy her dilemma. Thanks for being there guys!!
