Look, I've been their customer for about 30 years. I've bought from them many times, and taken in first-time buyers too. The shop is always helpful and prices are fair enough for me to always come back. If you want to buy a good gun, shop here. If you want Charm School valedictorians, you are lost. The personnel are all 2nd Amendment enthusiasts and gun owners - relax.

I came here with my 2 brothers and we were very pleased with the level of professionalism from everyone in the store. We had a situation that required the owner Greg to step in and help resolve, which he did in a most courteous and fair manner. We will be returning here as customers for a long time.

I have done several transactions here, the last few times I was ignored. Especially by the young kid that works behind the counter that looks like he’s in middle school lol, not to play the BIPOC card but other “people” were helped before me. The Australian guy is a cool dude and helpful but other than him everyone else can be pushy or ignore you.

I've done a few transactions (PPTs and ammo purchases) here over the past year and they've been quite helpful and friendly, even when doing PPTs which are by no means a moneymaker for the store. The most recent PPT I did there was probably the quickest and most painless I've ever experienced. And the friendly dogs they have there are a huge bonus (at least for a dog person like me). From my experiences there I would definitely recommend SoCal Gun!

I recently bought a firearm from here and have had good experiences until my last few trips there. When I walked in recently a woman engaged me from across the store a few times. I waited until she walked over to me so that I wasn't yelling across the store the items I was looking for. She was really pushy trying to get me to buy. I returned the next day and was helped by someone else during my purchase, thank God. I almost took my business somewhere else.

Good to buy guns from, but don’t rely on the armorers here.I had a fair experience. Not happy, but not upset. I bought a used ar15, and asked them to install a maglock and kingpin takedown pin since I wanted to get rid of the featureless stuff. The guy said he would do it, and have it ready by the time I picked it up. Note- I didn’t expect this to be a free service, but that would have been awesome.I go to pick the gun up, and it is dirty. It’s my first used gun purchase, and I got it in the same condition the previous owner sold it in. Maybe it’s normal not to disassemble and clean used rifles. Whatever. The big deal is that the gun didn’t have the maglock or takedown pin installed.I stand around while they try to figure it out, after 20 minutes he brings me the rifle with the maglock installed but not the kingpin. He takes it back to put the pin in, and 15 more minutes later someone tells me they can’t get the castle nut off, it’s staked on there too good. They need to return it to regular mag release and keep the gun and pay them to work on it. And possibly get a new castle nut on there. This was all supposed to be ready by the time I picked the gun up. I was trying to go to the range that day.Thankfully Gunfighter tactical is 15 mins away. I drove straight there thinking I was gonna drop it off for a few days, but the armorer took one look at it, went to the back, and came back 20 minutes later the maglock and kingpin installed. This is the difference between pros and amateurs. Ultimately missed my range appointment but still happy overall.I would buy another gun from SoCal Gun, but won’t be expecting great customer service and will never use their gunsmith.

I first started going here in 2003. I can honestly tell you these guys are legitimate. I bought some really cool stuff and rifles over the years from them. Always at a good price too. They get cool surplus stuff in occasionally so keep an eye out for that. Great store!

Wow such horrible reviews. Not too surprised, had similar experiences a few times. Rude and ignored me. I was going to consign a few guns there, but no way! Thanks for all of the honest feedback folks! Stay away!

Went to look around and OMG! They have all my dream guns there! I loved the staff and how helpful they were. That are very respectful and have the best manners. Will definitely come back as soon as my 10 day period is over.
