Visited Smart & Final recently and had a disappointing experience at checkout. The manager ( I am not going to say the name ) on cash was very slow and struggled to multi-task. When she/he got called away by another cashier, she/he didn't inform us or apologize for the delay upon return. Effective customer service and a smooth checkout process are crucial. Smart & Final needs to focus on better training for multi-tasking at the register and ensuring they have enough cashiers to avoid long waits. Customer service should always come first.

Took about 40 minutes to refund money for butter that I was charged full price for Steph the cashier and the lady manager were amazing patient trying to help me but there's a manager I guess named Ray that was very rude and short and didn't want to help accused me of already using the butter coupon which I never did while I was there waiting for my transactions there was another lady that came through to get her butter and the coupon didn't work either

Almost everything you needGreat place isles are a little narrow, but such a great selection makes up for that. Customer service is fantastic too!

The prices here are relatively the same as the rest of the supermarkets here.There are a lot of things here, mainly for catering needs, in larger containers.I think it is also worthwhile for large families to go shopping here.Otherwise you can get pretty much everything from A-Z.
