Customer service here is a tie between nonexistent and atrocious. My loved one had an experience yesterday where he was trying to shop for cases of soda (something he does weekly at this very location without fail, for work, spending roughly $150 each time for several years) and they wouldn't allow him a shopping cart to do so. There was a solid 30+ mins before closing and there's absolutely no justification in denying any customer let alone a loyal regular customer access to a shopping cart to shop at THEIR STORE. Mind you, everything at Smart & Final is large and a hassle to carry in the first place! He's kinder than I am and did not go full Karen and ask for a manager but I believe he should have. I will think twice before returning there myself.

One of the best if not the best in San Diego. Staff members are always on hand but most importantly for me or anyone is that they are always visible, not hiding or trying not to help the customer like in Home Alone Depot. ?
