Do not give them your business. I have had multiple problems with this location. I exchanged a propane tank there kept the receipt and when I went to use it leaked badly, like propane jetting out. I closed the valve and brought it back to exchange for a non defective one and they said they need their manager there to do so to check the cameras. They claim I didn’t get the propane tank there when I 100% did. When I bought it the guy at the counter even told me to keep the receipt because it could leak. I’ve been dealing with trying to return this defective severely leaking dangerous tank they sold me and they keep on telling me to come back when their manager is there. I go back the next morning and the manger is not there I leave my number for her to call, she doesn’t call. Been hauling this propane tank in and out of my car. Complete morons running the show at this location. I live locally but will never return there. Use some common sense people, you really think I’m trying to rip you off for $34 (the cost of the exchange) all I want is what I paid for an exchange for a tank that work and isn’t dangerous. Now what should have been a 30 second conversation and an apology for the dangerous tank has turned into a whole ordeal. If you are the manager at this location call me back, make it right. It’s absolutely ridiculous they are calling me a liar essentially saying I didn’t get the tank there when their employee handed me that tank. One of the employees “Jay” even had the audacity to say “I’m not going to call my boss on her day off to bother her” I’m standing there as a costumer has been wronged saying well you’re bothering me right now… oh well, I hope people higher up in the company see this and make some changes with who they employ.

Nice place to fill up if you're on the road 😎 just remember they have the car wash price bigger than the regular price , so just always remember that its more money 😎
I saw a beautiful car while i was pumping gas 🤩❤️ the attendant inside was nice when i asked about how to use gift cards 😎

This store is selling dirty and used clothing. I purchased one of their sweaters and when I got home, I looked at it, and you can tell it has been used many times there was dirt all inside of it. It is stained up, and the others were the same when I went back to return. I looked at the others and they were used. Also, they refused to change it out. I wasn’t even looking for a refund. I just wanted a different one. I think they have like one in there that is new the rest are used. Very disappointed in this situation, especially in this area. I have lots of family who are residence in this area who have been coming to this Shell gas station for many many many years unfortunately they will not be going there anymore. If you ever go to the store don’t ever buy their clothing. It’s all used very gross.

Great stop for gas. Easy to get in and out of as you are entering or exiting downtown La Jolla. Lots of pumps and there is a well stocked convenience store as well.

I don’t recommend this place at all, they will stole your money. They say if you pay cash it would be cheaper but then they say you have to wash the car to have the discount, avoid this place!!!!!!

By far the rudest attendant I have ever dealt with. I had two almost flat tires and my daughter in the car, I went in the first time to do for air AFTER getting gas and the woman said okay, 3 minutes later I go back in and ask her to turn it on and she rudely says she did then proceeds to press the turn on. Once I filled one tire I went back in to ask and saw she had a line and was with someone so I waited and then before she took someone else asked her to turn it on and she said "I'm already helping someone you can wait" which led to a verbal altercation Infront of several guest. I explained I asked before she went to the next guest that all she has to do was press a button which upset her more and her disgusting attitude worsened. I asked for the manager and she said to come back tomorrow, when I asked for the contact she said to just call the store and someone would connect me. Refused to give me her name. Absolutely ridiculous saying free air is for paying customers and she didn't have to turn on the air if I wanted to go that way ( wanting to speak to a manger )

Waste of money for car wash.Their car wash don’t have an auto brushing and the people who brush your car with hand brush before entering the car rinse area leave the car with slots of missed spots and aren’t apologetic about it at all!. They refuse to wipe them off even after 5 min driving my car back to show them all the spots they missed!!!!. She keep saying “we are a car wash and not detailer”. I showed her the brush marks all over on my dusty car and with one stroke of my index finger wiped it off to make her understand I wouldn't drive my car back if my car was brushed properly ,… she just stood there watching me whipping my car all over and made excuses and telling me that it’s not their job to clean the car perfectly!. This was clearly not a detailing job it was a lack of respect for costumers and costumer service.

I came in here to get the pepperoni rolls. I put them in a cup used for drinks because I couldn’t see anywhere to put them in. During checkout someone said to charge me for a drink as well.I asked what else am I supposed to put them in and was told in a drawer there are things meant to hold the rollsI went to get the roll holders and threw the cup and and they still charged me for the drink and the rolls
