Dr. Melancon has been my dermatologist for about a year now. Dr. Melancon & his staff were VERY accommodating on every one of my visits. This was my 4th appt today and Dr. Melancon has always been extremely professional. He also answered all my questions and concerns and has my trust. I highly recommend him. Paul B.

I have always had a positive experience going to this urgent care. They get you in and out in a good amount of time and the nurses and doctors have always been super friendly with me. I went into Sharp Urgent Care today for a possible concussion. Nurse Lizzie was amazing and super helpful and so was the other nurse. Dr. Applebaum came in the room in a terrible mood. I told him about why I think I needed to be seen and he completely shut me down and said i do not fit the criteria for a concussion. He didn't seem like he wanted to be there, he was short with everything, rude and I felt like my health was not taken seriously. I do recommend this urgent care but avoid this doctor.

Just a quick update on recent periodic dermatologist and wellness exams I received. 1. Dr Melancon has been my Sharp dermatologist for several years now and continues to protect me from a history of skin cancer ( melanoma included). Exam this month was six month follow up to a carcinoma he removed last October....and fortunately nothing noted last week ! I really appreciate his expertise and very good care ! 2. Dr. Morris in family medicine gave me one of the best routine wellness screenings I've had this week. What was truly impressed was the time he spent one-on-one reviewing my latest comprehensive lab results. His patience and talent explaining each variable until I ran out of questions really appreciated, as surely I put him behind schedule with other patients as we definitely exceeded the 15 minutes physicians have these days per appointment. Highly recommend Sharp' s Fir St downtown facility team !!!

The Best location for Urgent, Lab and Family Practice! The Urgent is efficient, the staff is so nice and they always make extra effort to make you comfortable and feel at your best before leaving!

After a shoulder replacement surgery, I required physical therapy on my shoulder. My therapist Andrea Adrianna, has a very polite professional demeanor! Prior to any treatments, she did an exam of the injured shoulder, that required therapy! Her exam was very thorough as she took measurements as a starting point for my therapy and would be able to ascertain improvements in therapy for my shoulder! She made certain that I knew, if an exercise hurt me too much that I would let her know and we would stop! Andrea is a very caring therapist asking how my shoulder was feeling asking how I did. I remember after my surgery, I was feeling very good, I asked her if I was to the point that I could do some yard work, I have a hedge separating my property with my neighbor, I started to ask her if it would be okay to trim the hedge. She made a positive comment, I have patients that I can't get them to do exercises and then there are those, like you, that you can't keep them down. She advised me, the hedge can wait, let your should rest a few weeks, which I did. I would like to commend Andrea Adrianna for her professionalism and caring for her patients

Had a poor experience with a second trimester ultrasound. The tech was cold and ruined what should have been an exciting moment. I understand the appointment is meant to get an update on the health of the fetus but they moved through the appointment very quickly, didn't give us a lot of opportunity to get a good look at our baby and wasn't very friendly. I'm sure they mean well but we will be scheduling appointments elsewhere to avoid going through that again.

I would give them a negative million stars if I could. Muslims should avoid Sharp Healthcare as they are extremely racist against the religion. I’m a nurse who was employed there and terminated twice due to my religious beliefs. I got a lawyer the first time but the second time I just left without an argument. They are liars, slanderous and defamatory. They will do anything and say anything to destroy a Muslim. Beware friends and try to go to Scripps , Kaiser or UCSD if you can. You will not get the humane proper care you deserve at Sharp .

My daughter worked at Sharps, Frost street facility up until recently. She quit due to her treatment by the staff. The facility is way under staffed and the staff that do work full time are rude and condescending. She was bullied and many times came home in tears up to the point of feeling like her life was worthless. HR did nothing! She realized that HR at Sharps is not there for the employees but there for the company. On the day she quit her manager apologized to her. He said he was pressured to be mean to her by the other health care workers and he told her he'd given his 2 week notice also. So FYI all the patients that get bad care at Sharps it's because they really don't care at all.

Every single time I come to this location the scheduled doctor is always late for my appointments . In the meanwhile every single YT person that arrives after me goes right in.This happens to me every single time without exception, that the pattern is obvious for me to get a hint.The only thing they know about me without seeing me is my first name.They should just put a "No Mexicans" allowed at this location, go to Chula Vista" on their website.

Phenomenal healthcare in San Diego. I see Alana Dembitsky, and she is the best pcp I've ever had. She truly cares about her patients, and takes the time to 1) speak and listen to her patients to understand their needs, 2) thoroughly review all tests to understand the results, and 3) explain the results, concerns, strengths of her patients' health issues. I am completely confident that Dr. Dembitsky is providing the best care I can possibly have through her thorough investigations and descriptions. She also is incredibly warm and easy to talk to. I feel very comfortable explaining all of my concerns and asking any question, even if they may be silly. I can't recommend her enough.Also, having many of the medical services in one building is very convenient! I am able to go in for my annual check-up and get my blood tests in one visit.

"the art of caring "??? so my wife asks the employee at Sharp RS to please wear a mask last month when she received her Covid booster, she even offered her an N95 mask. The Sharp RS person said, "...no".... really. you refused to mask up for my senior wife??? " The Art of Lip Service "? "The Art of Profits over People" "The Art of not giving a F about those at risk for Covid "? You all need to change your ads, maybe something like, "...we're in it for the money ", "we proudly do the least that we are required to do"....so disappointing.
