this place was a true godsend. they save my life and brought me back to health. the ICU staff {esp the nurses} were such wonderful caring people and did everything they could to make sure I stayed alive and comfortable. I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for them. thank you so much SHARP Kearny Mesa.

Filing a medical complaint to the California medical board against sharp Rees stealy. This complaint is against medical gaslighting and the refusal to do further testing on my symptoms. This is also because I am left unattended multiple times during my seizures/tremors. There was very few nurses that cared. A lot of the times in the mental health hospital I would see the nurses just sit there at the computers. I also have not seen a therapist at this hospital. Just therapy groups but no individual therapy. All of my symptoms like trouble walking are just being blamed on anxiety and I’m just told to calm down. Recently I found out I actually have autoimmune encephalitis and that is being ignored as well. I will be filing a big complaint and get a lawyer involved if nothing changes. My seizures have been getting worse as well since I left the EMU but I still have not heard from or been referred to a neurologist.

The wait is too long. You have to come here dying to be seen immediately. Your pain is not their pain. Yes, personnel was nice and professional but the wait just kills everything.

Having chest pain, they took me in fast, but i waited in the waiting room for over 5 hours, not checked up, no updates. super frustrating, and would never come here again.

My name is Marcelo Machado and this place is beyond amazing!!!!!!!! Doctors, staff, most nurses,RNs , food staff, kitchen, cleaning crew. Whoever complain about this place is full of BS. They went above and beyond to find a rare condition I had when most primary doctors said I had nothing. They did all the necessary labs and even a biopsy to make sure!!!!!!! The insurance wanted to discharge me the next day. It was the amazing doctors at sharp that said no and kept investigating further until they found out. Dr Ryan Barnes surgeon, Dr Surabihi Khanna Rheumatologist , Ryan Rn, Ellory RN, Dr Christy Zuanich ,Dr Sasirekha Pandravada, Anesthesiologist Joy Lee, Otherwise I could’ve have died.. I would really like to thank Sharp Memorial for valuing our lives as patients and taking their time. otherwise I could never know what I actually have! Food is beyond hospital expectations!!!. Nutricional, well balanced and delicious with lots of options including shrimp, Spanish Rice , samon, panna cottas,best baked chicken tenders and even chocolate mousses. I even thanked the kitchen chef in person for the amazing 5 star menu. Again, Sharp Memorial is anazing!!!!!!!! If you check out here you will be in excellent hands and care!!!

Team is good at hospital, but the billing department is a nightmare (Reason for Low Rating) Double Billing for Services, unresponsive to messages, letters, your placed on perma hold, then disconnected. Had to have an attorney send a letter to demand that the billing be corrected. If you have the time to fight with the billing department, the doctors, nurses are good. But get ready for a long drawn out process with lots of frustration with the lack of responses regarding the double Billing.

My husband experienced a medical emergency last week. These doctors and nurses were amazing. They acted quick and within minutes had performed so many critical tests. The level of care he received was amazing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

The imaging center is so efficient and diligent. No matter what Dr i go to i always have all imaging done at Sharp. Bit what happened to the stork and baby above one of the buildings???

As this case continues they just keep killing my grandma. It breaks my heart that she wanted to come here because of their service and I'm just watching her die. She was paying her own bills and living somewhat independently but because they refuse to treat her for anything BUT covid when she also has end stage kidney disease and CHF she has totally lost her mind in here. Barely knows who we are. It's beyond me how you can hospitalize a patient with multiple issues and CONTINUALLY refuse consults with completely appropriate departments like cardiology for the CHF. Only reason they involved the kidney dr is AFTER they killed her kidneys. Proofs in the bloodwork! ?

Husband came to the ER here recently with a broken leg and was treated with compassion and empathy. A NIGHT AND DAY EXPERIENCE compared to the way we were treated after the subsequent orthopedic surgery at UCSD ?♀️

Unbelievable my mother's had two heart surgeries within 35 days here, she is now on chemo cuz she has leukemia. She was unresponsive so I had an ambulance bring her to this hospital who can't find a bed for her in a 2-hour time frame and may not be able to do it until 4 hours into my mother being unresponsive, this is unacceptable. Next time I will just pay literally pay out of my pocket for the ambulance to bring my mom to the naval hospital this is not the way you treat people.

I cannot say enough good things about the care I received while at Sharp Hospital. I was admitted for serious chest pain and trouble breathing which quickly turned into a life threatening condition of pneumonia and pleural effusion. Being from out of town with no family nearby it was a pretty frightening situation, but all of the staff made me feel right at home and checked in regularly to make sure I was okay and given the proper treatment throughout my stay. The docs, nurses and specialists are not just amazing at what they do but also wonderful compassionate people. These people saved my life. Really, I have nothing but praises for this place. Thank you Sharp. Keep up the amazing work!

We always had wonderful care at Sharp Memorial. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. They are professional, helpful at every level, and provide excellent care for patients and visiting family/ patient support as well

2 times they give terrible service in the sharp memorial emergency room 5 hours waiting to see a doctor and no medications I got a security guard he pushed me to ask to see a doctor so why do they have a hospital if they don't have doctors to care for their patients? patients but to collect benefits they are good they are not professional at all they do not care about their patients as there is distinction here they serve discrimination
