I could spend all day in here. Such an eclectic mix of little shops and so much fun stuff to look at. I love this place!

Edited to add that I won’t be returning to Sea Hive as I just had the same experience being followed around again with my mother in law. This place is unhinged.
I love Sea Hive but the shoplifting policy for staff is CREEPY AND UNCOMFORTABLE for shoppers. I was so very disappointed in my last 3 visits here that it warranted a Google review. Customer service here is severely lacking and as stated before, the shoplifting policy for staff is CREEPY AND UNCOMFORTABLE for shoppers. No one wants to feel like they are being stalked by staff, which is how walking into this Sea Hive is like.
I live near by this location and frequently go on walks and will wander around Sea Hive as a pit stop before I head back home. The last 2 times I’ve wandered around the store I’ve noticed staff following me around but chalked it up to me just being paranoid.
I brought my sister and her 2 nieces to show off my favorite vintage market while they visited SD, during their side walk sale they do every few weeks. My 2 nieces were inside looking at things, while my sister and I were looking at stuff outside. My niece calls us and says staff is following her around and she “feels weird” about it. My sister and I go in to be with her and sure enough around every corner, between every rack of vintage clothes there was someone pretending to fold clothes or dust an empty corner. It made me and my family SO UNCOMFORTABLE. It was incredibly nerve racking.
I’ve honestly spent thousands of dollars in this place because I’m a sucker for cute stuff and I live 5 minutes away and I LIVE this store. So I can’t begin to tell you how upset and embarrassed I was to experience this. I had talked this store up to my sister and then to have us all followed by staff, making us feel completely uncomfortable, was wildly disappointing. Customer service is SEVERELY LACKING here and the shoplifting policy for staff is creepy and uncomfortable for shoppers.

I love this store full of locally created artists! The soaps are such great quality , and it’s so fun to check out what they have. They’re pretty expensive though, and I would say that most things are highly overpriced. Still, it’s a great place to check out and buy a few goodies

I have never written a review in my life but here we go. I went into this sea hive location the other day, as I’ve only had amazing experiences at the Oceanside location. The extremely poor service at this location is the reason I will never step foot again. From the moment I walked in the woman at the counter, poala, made this experience extremely uncomfortable. I wish I was over exaggerating when I say she rolled her eyes when we walked in. I noticed the unwelcoming vibe immediately but chose to ignore it. When we needed help trying on rings in locked cases, she made us say which box we intended to try on. My friend pointed out that each finger is a different size, so hard to say exactly which one. And in reality, it didn’t matter which box we intended to try on, she didn’t take them out to the counter or anything, she just stood there staring at us. She explained she needed to watch us, fine company policy, but she literally stood in front of the case, practically breathing down our necks staring at us. Obviously if we were to “steal” a ring you would notice it missing…so please allow the costumers to be able to try on rings without feeling so uncomfortable about it. I wanted to try on another ring in a different case, but she ignored me when I asked first, so I had to walk over to her as she’s trying on the rings herself, to get her attention. Again, an eye roll and an unwelcoming saunter over to help. I work in costumer service and I understand annoying or rude guests that sometimes warrant a response. However, I’m racking my brain as to why I was treated so poorly as I did nothing but ask for help. sometimes people have bad days but this woman didn’t seem to have a bad day, she seemed to enjoy being rude and entitled to us. Extremely disappointed and frankly entirely put off by that whole experience.

The products were cute but this is a very kitschy/millennial approximation of an antique store. Heavy on the makers market, so if that's what you are hunting you will not be disappointed! If you are hunting for that "I can smell the antiques' age before I even walk in" experience, this unfortunately isn't it.

So not my first visit to this store, unfortunately, after today it will be my last...at the jewelry counter located at the back of the store i saw a couple of things that caught my attention, the sales clerk was busy, since i was standing directly in front of her I waited for her to finish whatever she was doing, texting or whatever...but wait in the 2+ minutes that I stood patiently waiting for her to complete her task she never acknowledged my presence, low and behold another customer walks up and she suddenly finds her voice, yes, I'm brown, the other customers were white. On my way out of the store after being ignored, i let the cashier/manager at the front know that the service was lacking, hmm, excuses were made for the clerk at the jewelry counter's behavior. I will not be visiting this store again. Sadly, whether or not you as management condone this behavior I find it unacceptable that I can stand infront of a person and not having my presence acknowledged. I will not be spending my money at this establishment and I will be letting my circle know not to spend their hard earned $$$ here. So sad that one person can ruin your business.

Love this place and all the vendors. Tons of items with a range of different styles and products. Just one small complaint- so many of the vendors sell antique/vintage items and unfortunately, more than one of the items me and my friends purchased today had price stickers placed on them in ways where there was no way to remove them without damaging the item! Surely there’s a better way to do this and avoid permanently damaging these one of a kind vintage items. I shop for vintage and antique pieces all the time… very sad, because this is otherwise a great spot.

Looooove this place there’s so much to look at I spent 2 hours just looking at everything! The only issue I had was around the last 30 minutes I was in the store I had one of the employees very obviously following me around wherever I went, it was incredibly obvious and I feel like I was being discriminated. It made me really uncomfortable.
