The people at the Del Mar branch are awesome and very nice. The SDCCU app is awful. I am having a difficult time navigating it and it’s very slow to load pages. WiFi is working well full bars. Also, I’m trying to call for help and the call keeps dropping. I phoned my mobile provider and there’s nothing going on with the cell phone towers. I’m Able to call other phone numbers with no problems. Not sure what’s going on here. ? I left chase bank for this…Hope they throw some money at online, app, phone contact for customer service.

Grew up using this bank. Thought I wanted to go with a national conglomerate instead. I was #wrong #sorrydad (switching back to SDCCU when they open today bc I’m done being gaslit by BoA.)

Going on one hour now to get help, phone support after 50 minutes the 20 minutes 1st call, hung up, next time over 33 minutes, I hung up found a branch line extension, from them calling me, so I got through to them, but now going on 20 minutes at the branch, then they tell me I have to call the call center, oh then go to my branch is what they want me to do. Just depends my wait time...at the branch....HAVE TO DRIVE THERE NOW..JOY YOU..."OH YOU HAVE TO WAIT WHEN YOU GET THERE" ...THEY DON'T HAVE ANYWAY TO GET ME TO THE BRANCH PHONE NUMBER. CLOSING ACCOUNT VERY SOON!!!!! ASAP.....ZERO STARS.

Adriana F at the SDCCU in Carmel Valley is so informative, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I had so many questions, and she had all the answers but also offered to guide me through the process while she did it with me. She made me feel like ensuring I was taken care of was her primary concern. Most people provide a client with information and call the next in line. But she anticipated the difficulties I may have faced during the process and took the time and made an effort to ensure it was as seamless as possible for me. I wish more people would be as knowledgeable and kind as Adriana F .

Avoid SDCCU - they refused to fix fraudulent charges even with proofavoid at all costs! Do NOT bank with SDCCU! If you can go to any other credit union do so! I had my card stolen back in 2017 and used in a completely different city than where I live - and in the middle of the week while I was at work. I have tried to fight this every single year since then, and ended up just paying the charge off to see if it would help. After that they kept refusing a pay for delete on my credit report. I have sent proof multiple times that the charge wasn't me and that I wasn't even physically near where the charge was made and they keep denying everything! This charge was made at a bar in LA on a Wednesday in September 2017, which I didn’t do because I had never been to that bar and I worked second shift in San Diego on weekdays (didn’t get off until 1am) throughout 2017. I provided proof like hardware test reports and my time card statements from that week to show that I was at work in San Diego and couldn’t have made it up there. I even tried getting in contact with the bar but no one responded and I’m sure they wouldn’t be able to provide proof I wasn’t there anyways. It's so hard to talk to anyone at SDCCU and they kept sending me to different people to talk to. I've emailed, called, and visited different branches but no luck at all. I’ve even filed a police report for card theft and SDCCU ignored it. I ended up emailing the CEO with disputes and proof because I can’t get anywhere with anyone, all they say is “sorry can’t help you” even when I explain that I can give them proof and try to show it!Do NOT use SDCCU if you want to bank with a reasonable organization!!!

I have been a SDCCU Member for 30 plus years! All the Tellers and staff are very personable and professional! I have financed 2 cars and worked with the auto buyer for my current car, super easy, car delivered at the branch with a bow!!! My only complaint is that when u use your credit card in Europe, u are charged an International fee. Once u notify bank of out of country dates there should b a disclaimer re: Charge! My Citi Bank card did not charge a fee so unfortunately will no longer use card in Europe!

I was helped by an incredibly professional, nice, personable lady by the name of Adriana today. She helped me speedily...I was in and out in no time. She even asked if I've ever been to this branch before, because she didn't recognize me. I said I normally go to a different branch. So sweet. I'll definitely be back. Maybe I'll look for her to open a CD account or something some day.

This is not a friendly branch. When you first walk in, you notice there is no art on the walls and nothing attractive orp warm and welcoming decor. I noticed there were 5 people in branch, 1 sitting in a cubicle, 3 tellers and 1 person behind the teller line. Only 2 tellers had customers. No one greeted me, although three people had no customers and were not on the phone. I had to wait until the 3rd teller beckoned me. No acknowledgement until she was ready. This is consistent. No greeting or acknowledgement that you're there. Not customer service oriented at all. Each time I've been with a teller or person in a cubicle here, they have been the same - not friendly and seemingly not happy to be of service. I withdrew my money and took it to the Wells Fargo one block away and my experience was totally opposite. Warm friendly branch. Someone greeted me immediately when I walked in the door and no wait for a friendly and helpful teller. I don't recommend SDCCU Carmel Valley location at all if you want to feel like they are glad to have your business or if you want friendly and good service.

Wow !!! Adriana Felix the assistant branch manger at this place has the worst customer service, not only did she make it difficult for me to make a simple deposit into my account she failed to explain reasons behind it and offer zero to little help to fix the problem which wasn't and isn't a problem at all but she made it because she's lazy and incompetent for this job/ position. I hope San Diego credit union starts making better selection for employees especially ones with management positions. As for me I will be taking my business elsewhere and not even do any kind of business with this institution. Big corporate banks are way better than this!!!! Go learn from them !!!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. $45,000 car only asking for $7,500 loan only. Money in my account to cover easily, 850 on my perfect credit score. I have taken and paid 5 car loans with them and they are asking for my tax returns because I'm self employed. They are nuts. I closed my account and will take my business elsewhere!

If I could give it 0 or negative stars, I would. Representatives are incredibly rude and their rules are apparently different for everyone. My father was using this bank as well and they gave us 2 different dates for the same check we received from a client. This bank needs to have employees that are more friendly and people who actually want to help you out.

When I was growing up, this use to be where Blockbuster was. Now Blockbuster is gone, this is the entirely new establishment. I don't know much about what's going on at Del Mar these days because I left since 2008.
