This branch is horrible. I went to close my account. I was told that because I had a pending charge that I was unable to. I spoke to the teller saying that I would pay for pending transaction with cash from out of my purse. She wouldn't allow me to pay the one pending charge. I told her to take the exact amount of the pending charge and close the account. The teller took more than the pending charge didn'tclose the account and let the supposedly close account take a direct payment that I wasn't able to stop because my "closed account" was not "closed". I told the bank manager that she needs to pull the tape of the transaction in question and told me that it's only a video feed and has no sound. How convient so she wanted me to pay a overdraft charge for an account that should have been closed 3 days ago. I will never bank with SDCCU AGAIN they don't do what is asked. This branch needs to train their tellers to do what the member is requesting. I tried reporting them to the BBB but was unable to find them. This bank is not a good bank they need to review the policy of closing an account and teach the tellers.

Please be aware this location’s lack of communication or not been knowledgeable about banking transactions.Watch for your ACH draft and follow up to make sure is done correctly.I’ve been receiving Delinquent Notices because of that.

I am sitting in the parking lot after finishing up my transaction. I felt inclined to write about my experience immediately after having multiple transactions with Athena A. 1) I deposited a check. Everything went great and as expected.2) I requested to have an overdraft fee refunded as a courtesy. She asked for assistance and they honored my request as a one time courtesy. Thank you! 3) When I told her that I had one more transaction and that was to withdraw $260, she didn't seem pleased to help me. She was quiet the entire transaction handing me my ID, card, cash without saying anything to me. Her face looked annoyed that I had more business to do. I had $100 that I wanted to sort out into different envelopes. I asked for 2 envelopes and 5 rubber bands. She said she only had 1 rubberband and didn't seen to want to assist me. I asked her if there were anymore rubber bands in the branch and found 4 more while giving me a stank look. I counted my cash to make sure it was all there as I should until she asked me to move so she can help the next person. I had 4 different piles of cash and she was trying to rush me when I was only there for a few minutes. I told her that the first transaction was great but when I asked her for the withdrawal, she was not happy to help me. That's when she started sarcastically, fake apologizing to me saying, "Oh no, I didn't mean to do that." This teller/MSR is trash. Her customer service skills are not genuine and someone needs to retrain her. Definitely disappointed in my experience.

Very slow and disorganized. As convenient as this location is will go elsewhere for service. We have been with SDCCU for over 40 years and expected better service.

I been with SDCCU for a while yesterday I when to this branch and have the opportunity to speak with ANETTE D FLORES, that helped me with all my needs, that no one have help me before. Anette TOOK HER TIME TO EXPLAINED WHAT I NEEDED TO DO. thank you for your GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I don't know why every time I go to any of these branches I get approach to remove my hat or turn it backwards or I get the remove my prescription glasses because they're too dark due to the sun but they lighten up in minutes. I'm just over these branches

This location is great ! I had over draft fees during my maturity leave and they offered to waive one . I didn't even expect them to waive anything at all because it was my fault but they where able to get it waived within the same day . It's the small things that mater , thank you .

Normally I love this bank. I recommend it to everyone! Unfortunately today I came to this location instead of the El Cajon one. I simply wanted to close my accounts. Glory E. Asked me why. I told her my abusive ex-husband knew I banked here, and although they were a great bank, I simply felt more comfortable banking where he couldn't find me. I received no empathy. No sorry. I was not redirected to someone who could help me while I sat and relaxed in a chair. Instead, while I stood there parched, she did everything wrong, many times. By the end two separate tellers were helping her (instead of simply helping me themselves). The more frustrated she got, the more abrasive she got. She kept just looking at me with one eyebrow raised, like I had somehow insulted her. Twenty minutes and three tries later, I had my cash and a check, but she wouldn't hand me my receipts. I asked if I could have my receipts and go. All I got was a terse no. No sorry. No thank you for your patience. No thank you at all. Eventually her supervising teller, came over and told me I could leave. Glory then stuffed my receipts aggressively through the hole in the glass and turned her head away ignoring me. Wow, incompetent and rude, double trouble. I will never come to this location again.

Newly opened branch location, close to the Vons. The branch is small, the staff is very friendly. There was a wait in line, the Asst Branch Mgr helped me from her office so I wouldn't have to wait.

EVERY financial institute that I have ever dealt with ALWAYS mails out the end of year 1099-INT forms so that I can do my taxes. NOT SDCCU! They make you pay a monthly fee to get paper copies of ANY account. I have to go there each year and have them print out my tax forms. It is a hassle and we ultimately closed down our accounts because they are too cheap to send out a form we need to complete our taxes but I bet they informed IRS of the income! Use another credit union.
