i was a 20 year loyal customer of there's up until today . they changed ownership in the past few years and never again will I call them . they forgot my appointment and then sent some fool who wanted to replace all load cells when a good tech from different company was called and concluded I only needed one . They left with a attitude and my scale completely down . it was a friday night going into a busy weekend and I was In desperate need of help and they knew that . I called another tech and he came immediately and noticed they had it wired wrong and one load cell was weak . Be careful they not know what they doing or intend to take advantage of customers

Absurdly poor service. Takes MONTHS for them to even diagnose a scale, much less repair one. They are not open consistently during their scheduled business hours and rarely answer the phone. If they DO answer the phone, they can't answer your question, tell you they'll get back to you, then you never hear from them again.

We called them to see if they had a pocket scale in stock that is easily available for $40 to $60 from anywhere on the internet. They said "yes, it's in stock, $59 dollars. So we drove for 45 minutes to arrive there and have the nice gal at the counter say "gee sorry I made a mistake it's $95, not $59, take it or leave it" Being we needed it for a project today we accepted her bait and switch, and went away with the scale but totally ripped off. Would not recommend this place of business.

We were in a crunch and needed a very particular scale ASAP. That scale was not available, and Paul worked with us to provide alternative solutions. I purchased and A&D bathroom scale 20 years ago which still functions perfectly and as a new need for precision weighing scale came I thought of them. I searched for dealers with good pricing and excellent customer care. I Was lucky enough to find San Diego scale which offered me the absolute best pricing and the best shipping option for me since it was critical that I get my custom cable spools measured right away. I spoke with Paul Van Roon, very professional and told me about their shipping proccess which assured me I would get 1 to 2 day shipping because of my proximity to the A&D warehouse I got the A&D sk-5000 which measured to .1 of an ounce in accuracy and up to 11 lbs. They make exceptionally good equipment. I am writing this because I felt compelled to share my wonderful shopping experience with other people in need of high quality instruments for very, very fair pricing. I just can't stand any kind of measuring device that gives you consecutively wrong answers dependent up placing the object to be weighed in identical positions which is not possible. With my 20 year old scale performing flawlessly and never giving different readings I am so fortunate. I can get on my current scale 10 times and it always reads exactly the same, also compared with Doctor scales , most of which are not as accurate as mine depending on their last calibration. I got my A&D SK-5000z scale next day and I needed to get it right away. I will definitely shop here again. I hope this is useful info for someone needing a scale and wondering which one to buy. The bathroom scale version of what I got is called the UC-321 accurate to .1 lbs and I don't think it gets any better than that, Hope this helps
