5 star operation. Darren and his crew were very impressive movers. Darren, owner, has a ton of experience in the industry and his crew work well as a team. From floor 19 condo in Little Italy to house in Serra Mesa no problems. Price point for the work scores a birdie for me meaning above par! I know 5 star reviews are not what viewers want to see (show me the downside, will yah) but no criticism from me and I‘m not a relative or friend of any of these guys!

I actually worked with them at a building in downtown recently and they were amazing, I even emailed their boss and told him what a great job they did. I am a moving coordinator for a few buildings in downtown.

I’ve used SD moving company 3 times over the years, and they’ve always been amazing. I recently used their services to move to Miami and Darren was so helpful. He told me where to get moving blankets for a great price (harbor freight has deals all the time!) and addressed all my other questions about using a POD. Fast and efficient service, all the guys are friendly, hard working, and a pleasure to work with. Reasonable pricing, no hidden fees, and the website is easy to use for getting quotes and updating your move details (mine changed a few times due to the POD situation). 10 out of 10 recommend.

These movers are professional, efficient, and careful! Booking was so easy to do online. They were right on time on my moving day. Communication was great. The movers (I think their names were Nestor and Mark) made sure to double check with me about what should stay/go. After the relocation, they went above and beyond with placing my furniture in the correct corresponding rooms, and they assembled some things too! I would totally use them again.

San Diego moving company made me feel comfortable from the first call I made to them! No sales or gimmicks - just nice people willing to help. The 3 gentlemen showed up early and were amazing and communicative all day through the move. The owner of the company reached out before the move to make sure I didn’t have any questions and even stopped by on moving day to check in and give me a hand written thank you card and house warming gift. That extra gesture was so sweet and really wowed me! I would 100% recommend this company!Oh and no broken goods!

Extremely professional staff while also being personable and friendly. San Diego Moving Company went above and beyond our expectations. Moving day is extremely stressful, but the crew was efficient and reminded us that we were in good hands as they moved all of our belongings quickly and carefully. In areas where we neglected to put a good amount of shrink wrap, the crew reinforced them with their own shrink wrap. They even supplied us with extra boxes for random items that were straggling behind at the end. You can tell this company has experience. Nothing surprised them. We felt TOTALLY taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend! :)

We moved twice within a year and both times with San Diego Moving Company. Both moves were complicated. I cannot praise the entire team more highly. From the moment we booked, Darren and Turath personally followed up on every detail. We had the same crew on the two moves so that on the second move the guys remembered all my quirky requests from the first move. They were careful, courteous, friendly and hardworking---every single one. I don't plan on moving again, but I will certainly be recommending them to anyone who is.

Excellent moving company for our local move. The account manager was helpful before we moved with planning the correct # of men+trucks when I wasn't sure what we needed and also didn't want to overhire/overpay. Day of the move, the 5 guys arrived with energy and positive attitudes (they all seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs), were careful and efficient to get a somewhat stressful day (for us) tackled. They also thoughtfully asked where to place items inside the new house to make things easier on us rather than just unloading everything in the driveway or in one room. I'd definitely hire them again!

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a hassle-free moving experience. They worked fast. They took good care of my stuff and brought plenty of supplies (i.e. blankets, tape, wrap) for extra protection. It was a great price for such good work!!

If I could give 6 stars I would, and if I ever have to move again within the San Diego area I'll certainly be using San Diego Moving Company. The team was very friendly, hardworking, efficient, and timely. Moving is the literal worst but it was made spectacularly easy with the help of SD Moving Company!

Our experience warrants this review. 1.Furniture damaged (See photos) They were young workers and not careful or didn't care. Darren paid a very small amount for three damaged pieces of furniture. We continued to find more damages. I did not include all in photos. 2.worked at a slow pace with frequent breaks and lots of talking. Charged By the hour. Two men who put the furniture together worked hard. 3.makeshift/shortcuts taken due to material shortages. All furniture wasn't wrapped or protected causing damage. Underestimated the job and didn't bring adequate amount of supplies. 4.Did not finish job. Had to rent a truck to finish ourselves. We would NOT recommend this company
