In the last 5 years I’ve bought 6 used car batteries here. Every battery I’ve bought, has outlived my ownership of each car. Typically I’ll take the battery out and come in to swap. This time I realized my battery was about done, and stopped in on my way home with no tools. Julian gave me the price I was quoted over the phone and removed and installed the new battery. depending on your situation, a new battery may be your move (which they also offer). That said inflation has really affected the price of car batteries. You shouldn’t be surprised to pay nearly $200+ for a new battery, even at places like Walmart. My 2012 Nissan Maxima, $80 installed out the door with core exchange (swap your old battery for the new one) . Make sure you bring cash! This is the spot every used car owner should know about!

Idk about their customer service but I needed a used car battery. Wanted $70 + $35 to install it. I called up the battery place in El Cajon on Main st and it was $50, free installation.

I've used this shop many times over the years. Always happy with them. Lately his prices have sky rocketed. Called today for a grp 65. These run 140.00 new with warranty. I've bought them here 3 times over the last 5 years for different trucks. 30 to 50 was the prices. He has slowly increased his prices to the point I wont buy anymore here. 70.00 was the quote. Too much for a used battery that may last a year. May last I say.
