Hair dresser, Amalia, was a true joy! It was fun to connect with someone who is truly passionate about what she does. I received a wash and haircut. She did a wonderful job and was very focused on a successful cut and pleasant experience. I loved it! The location is adorbs. I just love the naturistic and open garage concept. The farmers market happens on Tuesdays which I wasn't aware of, so parking is a little tough. I did stress out about my car potentially being towed away since I could see cars being hauled away. Amalia checked in with the owner who said I should be fine if I parked along a street. She also asked me which street I parked on but being that this was my first time I didn't know which street I was on lol. But, luckily I didn't get towed. I was there a little early so I just kind of hung around. Then shortly after, I was asked if I had an appointment. Then was told it would be a little bit...but again, I didn't mind since i knew I was early. I was offered to sit but was a little apprehensive about the comfort level/ stability of the cute chair. lol my issue, not theirs. All in all, Amalia was fabulous, know what street you park on if you go on a Tuesday, and then maybe you can get an even better experience than I did. My first hair salon experience in San Diego. Salons in Texas offered a beverage as you waited.. is that not a thing in San Diego... just a wondering.

I have naturally dark blonde or light brown hair. Two times before, I have gotten my hair lightened by highlights/balayage at other salons, but I always felt like I wanted my hair (and more of it) slightly blonder than I got. Once my balayage grew out, I booked an appointment with Jenny for a touch-up, and right away we talked about what she could do for my hair. Rather than just touching up my existing balayage, she listened to my desire to go blonder and did an AMAZING job. The pricing at this salon is similar to other salons in the area (if not slightly less expensive considering the level of blonde I got done). Plus, Jenny (and the surrounding stylists) made the whole experience a fun one. They included me in conversations, played good music, and treated me like they would a friend. The parking situation is a bit tricky because there is only two hour parking with meters outside the salon. So, I had to move my car once so that I wouldn't get a ticket. When Jenny was finishing up styling my hair, I noticed my second parking was about to expire. Another stylist, Niki, immediately went out to where my car was and graciously paid for another hour (even though I didn't need that much time) so that I wouldn't get a ticket. I know the meter didn't cost much, but found that to be really generous and showed the salon's commitment to taking care of their customers. All in all, I had a great time and will be going back in the future!

Nicky is truly a rockstar! She came to my hair rescue on the day of my friend's wedding. Booking with the salon was super easy and they were very responsive on Yelp. I got a deep conditioning hair treatment and blowout/beach wave curls. She luckily had enough time to trim up my dead ends so my curls look gorgeous. For curly girls, Nicky is your woman! She understands how to cut curly hair and made sure my hair trim would look good straight or curly.

I requested for a hair appointment for 6/7/24 and they had me booked with a hairstylist named Nicky. The problem with my hair was my hair extensions were not blended in well and I needed more assistance on my hair. Nicky did help me with my hair and we even had a phone call to give me a consultation for my hair. Overall the experience was fine until towards the end when I asked Nicky if we can do a blowout. There was miscommunication between the both of us about her doing a blowout which I did apologize for. Nicky proceeded to make such an Unnecessary comment which really hurt my feelings and was extremely unprofessional of her. I explained to her I had a date that night and that was the one of reason for the blowout and she proceeded to say "Why would you wanna go looking fake?" "Wouldn't you want to go on the date looking natural and not fake?" I was extremely offended by this and took some time to think about writing this review. It kinda just felt like she didn't wanna do my blowout and made me feel uncomfortable/bad for even asking her to do my blowout. This was my first time with her and the experience was horrible/hurtful. Nicky if ur reading this keep your comments to yourself.

I was absolutely thrilled with my keratin treatment done by Jenny! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The treatment itself was a dream – my stylist worked wonders, leaving my hair silky smooth and frizz-free. Weeks later, and my hair still looks incredible!
I went back a few weeks later for a trim and style and was again blown away by Jenny's work!

Veronica did such an amazing job on my hair! I haven’t gotten my hair done in a little over a year. I have been skeptical to go to anyone after my last experience trying someone new in San Diego. I gave Veronica a chance and she left me speechless! She gave me what I wanted and more❤️ Definitely will be going back to her!

Lovely spot in PB with lots of natural lighting and filled with green plants! Had the best appointment with Brooke.Brooke gave me the hair of my DREAMS! I was in last month to have my blonde touched up by her and we talked about doing a dark purple that faded into a lighter purple. I didn’t give her any reference photos and she just KNEW what my hair should look like. Our appointment went long, so she got some hummus and pita chips from the farmers market and we had a perfect afternoon snack while my color was processing. (No hangry clients here!) Brooke gave me some long curtain bangs with some face framing and it was PERFECT. She styled my hair afterwards and I was in love with my hair so much that I could not stop looking at it in the mirror!I am definitely coming back for more crazy colors and blonde touch-ups with Brooke!THANK YOU SO MUCH BROOKE! ?Services: Haircut

I am active duty service member and being a female it's important to me to find my "go to girls" for hair, lashes, and nails! Being that I have to travel a lot sometimes it's truly hard to find someone who is flexible and understanding of my schedule but at the same time able to meet my expectations! Well look NO Further! Natalie is my girl! This girl took the time to research the types of colors and extensions I needed. She worked hard before I even arrived to ensure she had the right colors picked out. She took extra time to ensure my extensions were everything I wanted! I had spent a year trying to get my hair to the vision I had for myself, with other hairstylist who left me disappointed. So, she truly was a blessing for me! She is great at communication and willing to work with me and my schedule and I couldn't ask for a more professional and hard working hair stylist! Not to mention the salon is beautiful and has a great atmosphere! I found my go to girl in SD and I am beyond happy!

I was really looking forward to going more blonde and pam did the job perfectly!! She was super friendly and very informative on what would be going on that day! She even texted me the night before and made sure we were both comfortable with what I wanted and how we would achieve it!! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a cut or color service

Tiffany took great care of my curls, and as a bonus was hilarious AF! will be back. just warning to others--leave time to find street parking. the little lot next to the salon is owned by assholes and you can't park there.

Nicole is such an amazing stylist! I have really curly hair and a lot of stylists tend to get frustrated or charge extra just to deal with it. Not only does Nicole go above & beyond in capturing what I've asked for- she gives great tips on how to maintain it. The balayage I got from her lasted over 6 months. She also asked me for tips on products and brushes so that she could get some in case other curly haired people come in. 100/10. She's also so sweet and hypes you up and really is a girls girl. Will continue to go to her every time for my hair coloring needs, it feels good to be seen and included.
