Surprised to see all the negative reviews here, my experience was great. Was easy to schedule online via their website. Beau the technician had great communication before the appointment, was friendly and professional during. Did a great job fixing my chipped windshield and the entire job took maybe 10 minutes.

Over promise and under deliver. Seems clear that they have more business than they can handle.Complete lack of communication. Zero integrity. Manager had no idea what was happening in his shop and was unwilling to even attempt to rectify the situation.Extremely disappointed and stuck because Safelite was the “preferred” vendor for our insurance.

Shout out to Christian and the crew for their work today. Going beyond and helping me understand services and doing extra by removing a sticker from my back window. Really appreciate it! Thank you

My windshield was repaired a few weeks ago, and afterwards my windshield wipers didn’t work properly. My husband was able to figure out why (the sensor is now not touching the windshield, unless I press it against the glass myself), and we’ve been trying to get Safelite to come out and fix it ever since.I can’t seem to get a human on the phone who can help me, and the automated system schedule me for an appt I apparently can’t have because of the type of warranty repair I need…?!?!?The “direct” number for the shop I was given by the one and only human I’ve managed to reach just rings and rings and rings until the call ends (no voicemail, no “we’re closed, call back” message, nothing).At this point, if I want to be able to operate my wipers correctly, it looks like I’ll need to hire someone else.

They asked if I had covering for the rain when I made the appointment knowing it was going to rain. Figured why would they ask if they didn't have a cover or some work around, they scheduled me for when it's raining then called and canceled on me an hour before they're supposed to show up. I took a day off work for this appointment and they don't seem to care.

Avoid this place as much as you could. Their installation skill is a joke and their warranty is a joke too. Went there to replace my windshield. They didn't adjust my wiper arm correctly after installation. A couple days later, the first time I turned on my wiper it fly away and the wiper arm hit the newly installed windshield! The windshield broke again! I directly drive to this place and the technician installed a new wiper blade for me. But he said he can not install the windshield right away since the glue is not cured yet. Made a warranty appointment to fix it a couple weeks later. When I came back for the warranty appointment, the store manager refused to admit their fault on the installation and said the wiper blade was always installed wrong. This is making no sense since I was driving my car for years and having no issue with the wiper. It only broke after they touched it. The store manager is very rude and acting like I know nothing about my car and he knows everything. So I was basically kicked out of their store with a broken windshield which I paid hundreds of dollars for.

Went in for a repair under warranty. Was told on arrival the wouldn’t cover it because it was caused by impact (not explained over the phone). Ok well the windshield had a wrinkle in the glass too… isn’t that a manufacturer defect? Didn’t matter. Then the guy felt it was important to let me know he was the manager (though I never asked for one). Just an overall frustrating experience honestly. I really don’t recommend this place - go to liberty auto glass instead. I’ve been there twice, professional and quality.

Don't let their warranty flaunting fool you. You are not covered for chips, even if you had your windshield replaced a few months ago. I tried to call but their automated system wouldn't let me get through to a person. Their online booking allowed me to file the problem as a chip or crack and the option under warranty, but they wouldn't cover it once I got here. They told me i would have to use my insurance which would be the full $1000 deductible or pay out of pocket to replace the whole thing. Didnt offer to repair the small chip or any discount or accomodation as a returning customer. Wasted my whole morning.

Our family’s auto glass repair was not so smooth. The first day we waited the whole day for someone to show up, no one came… Thankfully the next day, we were able to get our auto glass repaired.

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. I was referred here by my insurance company as one of their authorized windshield/glass shops. I should have taken advantage of the right to choose my shop of choice and went elsewhereThis was my first and definitely my last time coming here.On 11/6/23 Safelite installed an Aftermarket windshield they refer to as O.E.E. (original equipment equivalent) because the brackets did not fit which is where the sensors behind the center rear view mirror has cover on them. The technician Jacob advised the car was safe to drive and that they order another aftermarket windshield replacement from the same vendor. This was inaccurate misinformation, when I paid my $500 collision deductible was when the replacement A/M windshield was ordered per Jasmine at the front desk under product warranty.Upon picking up my vehicle, upholstery fabric was sticking out, there was a strong odor of the urethane/adhesive that made me nauseous. As I was driving the vehicle the cover detached from the rear view as it was completely unsecured mirror and almost hit me in the face this did not indicate the vehicle was safe to drive. Sloppy and poor workmanship quality.Jasmine scheduled a 2nd appointment for 11/13/23 @ 10 am I dropped my car off again on 11/13/23 at 10:43a I was under the impression the appointment was for 10:30a. After taking time off work and being inconvenienced, Jasmine attempted to tell me I would have to reschedule my appointment, despite all that I went through this point. I told her that would not work due to the circumstances then she gets Anthony aka Tony (on duty manager) with a rude & complacent attitude says I was late 43 min but they will take the car as an exception it would be done by 5p before they close. The fact that I had to come a 2nd time was that my fault?Then the technician Jacob aka Jake called me 11/13/23 @ 10:55 am approximately 12 min after dropping my vehicle off and says the 2nd replacement windshield brackets would not fit again and they would need to find another aftermarket replacement windshield from a different vendor. I informed him this was unacceptable and a horrible customer service experience and advised I wanted an OEM windshield. There was nothing but silence. I called my insurance company and they approved the OEM. Wouldn't you know Safelite AutoGlass- Miramar San Diego location happened to have an OEM available in stock per Yancy at the front desk. Yet Jacob the technician never suggested or informed me of this as a solution to the issue. They have poor communication, poor repair quality, and poor customer service no one ever greets you. This was my 1st and last time here and I regret giving them my business.Please do yourself a favor and find any other windshield/glass shop but Safelite AutoGlass

4of5! Tech Ivan and cashier Jazmin are superb! {Was: Corporate level, horrible appointment setting experience, understanding deductible and how my car insurance is involved, unable to remove a car I no longer have but once had an appointment involving, always unable to log in and modify my upcoming appointment, email confirmation had two widely differing dollar quotes due to electronics calibration add-on, unable to call a branch directly, on a Saturday. The phone tree never recognizes my answers and says they're closed today and hangs up on me. 0 of 5 stars!}

Way too expensive. Made an appointment for a crack on the window. The technician was very polite and knowledgeable about the window not being able to get fixed. The people at the front desk were talking with each other and not speaking to customers right away. They wanted to change me $500 for a new window. I called some other places and the window is $225 to $250 installed. Twice the price for the name? Doesn't seem right.
