I just love this place! The sandwich options are so good and always so prepared fresh. This little neighborhood market has a little bit of everything. Yummy snacks, nice wine selection and such great service.

The Royal Market makes the best sandwich in the neighborhood. We eat there at least once a week. The Southwestern Turkey is yummy. Romi is so sweet and appreciates her customers greeting each one and always saying thank you. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

It's such a privilege to have this little market in our neighborhood. The sandwiches are awesome, great selection of wine, and lots of random food I like to try. Staff is amazing too!

What a gem. Fabulously kind service, Romi and Liz. Sandwiches are some of the best I've had in San Diego and they have a lot of unique and delicious snacks too. Judging this place from the outside, thought it was a liquor store and had no idea I'd be coming here a couple of times a week for lunch. It's wonderful having this place in my neighborhood. My favorite sandwich so far is spicy bomb.

Ate two sandwiches here this week and both were some of the best sandwiches I've had in San Diego. One hot, the Royal March, and one cold-ish, the Picasso. Highly recommend both. Reasonably priced as well. Small little deli in bankers hill but highly highly recommend

This place is an absolute gem! The sandwiches are AMAZING! The lovely woman who is either the owner or running the show is a delight. Super cute vintage atmosphere with a great selection of wines and other goodies. Definitely feel lucky to have it be a couple blocks away and a neighborhood treat.

Absolutely love this spot! A quick walk from my office and I can get my favorite sandwich. They are super friendly and have always been so accommodating even when I put in a last-minute order. The vibe is of a little neighborhood spot where everyone knows your name. Check out the built in coca-cola fridge for fun drinks

Can't say enough good things about this quaint little spot and its fabulous owner Romi. Recently started working in the area and have been coming during my lunch breaks and eating in the outdoor patio. I've observed that most folks call in their orders for pickup, but I've found that walking in, ordering, and waiting never takes more than 5 min - even during their busiest rush. Their sandwich menu is mouthwatering, impressive, and extensive - from regular menu items (customizable full-size sandwiches salads and your choice of sides like Mac salad, potato salad, or side salad) to fun weekly or monthly specials like a panko Asian shrimp wrap i had one time. I also usually order a cup of soup with my lunch and have loved all the varieties I've tried so far. Highly recommend the 1/2 sandwich 1/2 soup combo! So affordable, filling, and fresh. Friendly and professional service, a clean shop and kind owner. Plenty of snacks, drinks, condiments, other food for sale too
