I visited the Ross College Grove and made a few purchases at the register less than 2 feet from the security area. However, both the security personnel and a manager requested to see my receipt and proceeded to count the items in my bag. Frustrated by this, I lost my composure and gave them both an earful. Better off spending more and shopping at Kohl's next door.

I arrived at the store for the 49-cent sale at 8:23 PM, only to be told they were closed—despite the store being packed with customers. After I walked in, they shut the door behind me and asked me to leave, citing “maintenance” as the reason. However, I still saw people arriving, unaware that the store had closed early.
To make matters worse, the manager was unnecessarily rude. If the closure was planned, there should have been an online announcement or a sign at the entrance to inform customers in advance. Given that the store’s regular closing time is 11 PM, this lack of communication is disappointing and does not encourage repeat business.

Store is super unorganized and absolute cluster. Items are broken or missing pieces. You have to shop here when you're in the right mind space or the disorganized set up will upset you. The savings aren't even worth it half the time as most clothes has stains, rips, tears etc. They also always have lines to the back of the store to checkout and if you're just returning an item, you still have to wait in their ridiculous line. There's never enough staff and the staff that is around just seems so disheartened and over the day. There are better Ross locations to go to. Avoid this one.

Good prices on items. Most branches are messy and unkempt. No staff to assist when help is needed. Price is the only reason to go. Atmosphere is dry and somber.

30 customers inline but only 1 cashier for return and 1 for purchase??? Others
also complain this is typical for this store. Love to support local Ross but won't come back

The worst ? experience from fitting room to the management but the Cashiers was very nice I'm I going to bring my business here at this location again I don't think so

Unfortunately, I had to lean over to grab my own receipt and I forgot my purchased items. I called and spoke with manager Xavier. He made it no big deal and advise me to pick up my items the following day. He told me the cashiers are not required to hand you the items you purchased or your receipt therefore, it’s your responsibility to reach over to the printer for your receipt and grab your purchased items yourself . I’ve never had this experience anywhere else. Very unprofessional waste of my time and money .Staff are not properly trained. I will be returning to this location.

Love this Ross and the people ❤️ who work there. Especially the woman the lady who work in the fitting room. She is so nice(she will remind you "ONLY 8 ITEMS) LOL. I FOUND THE PRICES TO BE GREAT found all my swimming suits at Ross, and they fit great. WALMART they have rude employees, I won't shop there. BUT ROSS, OH YES. ROSS IS A GOOOOD STORE. I WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP AT ROSS ON COLLEGE BLVD on San Diego California. Love you Ross. Keep up the good work. 5 ? stars
