Always fun shopping at this location and you will find something to buy lol they have a great collection of merchandise. despite the heavy load of customers staff is super friendly, especially the security. Last night I had another visit, a gentleman was in the self-checkout line with his hair tight back and helping each customer with such a great friendly attitude. Highly recommend shopping here.

Compared to another one I was at recently, this one was better because it has self checkout for 8 items or less. So the ridiculously long line and lack of cashiers are less of a factor if you're not buying a bunch of stuff

To the young, working moms looking for good deals. Go to TJ Maxx/Homegoods right next to them
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND BIASED HUMILIATION GO ELSEWHERE STAY AWAY they will treat you like a SHOPLIFTER/CRIMINAL if you have a stroller. (Because guess what you have an infant that isn't big enough to walk yet.)
Security has clear bias issues.. it is even stated in previous reviews and it's not a coincidence. Management condones this and does not take it seriously. Seeing that other reviews also share these similarities they condone it.
Have been coming to this location for many years. Firstly with my mother and never liked the place. Even many years back it was nerve wracking and chaotic trying to navigate the store let alone actually purchase an item.
Came in with my fiance and my 9 month old son, he came in looking for a few items. I came in with him so as not to stay in the car with our son. Wasn't looking to leisurely shop and wouldn't have gotten that experience even if I'd wanted to it's extremely messy and disorganized.
Found a single t-shirt I liked enough to purchase. Decided to opt for the self-checkout seeing how overwhelmed the cashier was clearly underpaid and on a Saturday afternoon I pitied the understaffed team. (They will pay for automated self checkout but not for more cashiers) so as to avoid the whole receipt situation that the manager and the security held up as "policy."
Perhaps they should post signage stating that you must show receipt after using self checkout or else be humiliated and at the bias and discretion of whichever security guard happens to be standing there or attempting to stop you at the door and yelled at by whichever security guard is on duty.
None of the other Ross's have ever given me this kind of treatment.

This place has stolen my stuff multiple times. Don’t come here because the cashier doesn’t put your stuff in the bag. Terrible customer service.

Horrible horrible worker screamed at me when I was going to the self checkout and then ripped the tag off my item when he was taking off the security tag. You should not be able to speak to people like that just because you’re miserable and bald.

It was pretty clean and organized. The little boy selection is very limited. There are lots of clothes and shoes for girls, but there were probably 8-10 sets for boys in each size.

I like the store because I found the things I need, just enough, at first I didn't pay attention when paying and I stood in the automatic payment line and it turned out that it was only 8 pieces. I didn't know I didn't pay attention and when I arrived the lady said what I'm sorry it's too much, you have to line up on the other line at first you don't understand English but when I understood I enjoyed the long line but I'm on my way soon haha thanks I like the store.

They have a lot of good deals and they are I open really late.. great place for bedding, towels and your basic kitchen needs.. such as dishes pots and pans And silverware. They also have luggage shoes and hygiene products.

I have been a loyal shopper, at the store for eight years of my life. Upon going there today for my first time in this area in San Diego, I was harassed and humiliated by the security guard Kyle, because I am an African-American woman. I’ve never in my life felt so embarrassed. The corporation needs to handle this and deal with Kyle accordingly and should be reprimanded for dealing with such customers this way.
