Well I took the shoes back today. I was definitely treated 100% better. I was fitted for the shoes this time and was given the correct size. This is what I expect from Roadrunner. Thank you.

I waited in line for 10 minutes. Then got checked in and was told I would need to wait for another 20 minutes. 25 minutes later I got a text saying I could check in. I waited another 10 minutes in line to get checked in again. All the while there are these sales people wondering around aimlessly playing with their iPads. At this point I was not happy. I asked for a manager. I explained my experience to the manager at which point he said "maybe you don't want these shoes?" I walked out and went to REI. Got a $69 credit and was served right away. I had bought my previous 3 pairs of Hokas at the road runner but I will NEVER RETURN

Amanda is the most amazing employee I have ever dealt with at Road Runner. She is friendly and helpful. She always goes above and beyond to help with any issues I have. She is amazing!!!

Update to my original review below: I just received an email from Roadrunner saying that I successfully renewed my annual membership that I didn't want! LOL! It turns out that's an automated email that is sent the day after the charge posted to my bank account. After waiting on hold for 50 minutes, I used the Call Back feature and spoke with someone who confirmed that my membership was cancelled and the membership fee refund was processed. Maybe I'll get an automated email tomorrow. Hopefully this is resolved, but I'm marking my calendar for a year from now to watch my bank account because I don't trust them. -- -- A few positives and a huge negative. I mostly want to review the membership they offer and charge you for -Beware of the Membership! DO NOT DO IT! Positives first: I'm happy with my shoes but could have bought them anywhere. I was happy with the salesperson who helped me find the right shoe. He was patient and let me try on several pair. I tried them with and without the personalized insoles that they made for me. The shoes were more comfortable without "my" insoles. I took them home just in case, but returned the insoles later because I didn't need them. They refunded my $ -no problem. The Negatives: Due to their process, give yourself a couple of hours in the store. It might take that long; always a wait, never enough sales staff. They don't have enough sales staff on the phone either. I thought when I returned the insoles, that I cancelled the membership. They are very hard sell at the register when purchasing shoes; they push the membership as "it's cheaper to buy these shoes with the membership than without". The problem is that the memberships are Auto Renewed a year later. Apparently there is a way to opt out of it automatically renewing, but I don't know where. And since I thought I cancelled it and never knew it would automatically renew, I didn't look for that option. So a year after buying anything in the store my bank's Fraud Dept texts me asking if the $49.99 Roadrunner store charge is my purchase. It was not, so they closed my debit card and re-issued a new card (we've all been there). I didn't even remember anything about a membership at that point. BUT I was going to travel in a few days and would need my card, so I had to pay a $25 rush delivery bank fee to get my new card before my trip. I mention all this to a friend who says they saw reviews online about the same problem I had: Roadrunner automatically charging membership fees without people knowing. I called Roadrunner, and they agreed to refund the $49.99 membership and said they would cancel the membership while I was on the phone. They would not agree to refund the bank's $25 fee that I had to pay. So, if you're a runner who needs multiple running shoes per year, the membership might be worth it. If you only buy shoes once a year or even less frequently, DO NOT BUY THE MEMBERHIP. They said they emailed me 2 weeks prior to charging the card, but I didn't receive it. I opted out of their emails, as they send a lot, and not knowing that I still had a membership, it didn't occur to me that I would miss an email saying they're charging my card. I have no idea if they actually cancelled my membership today; hope so. The $25 fee I had to pay my bank and the frustration and wasted time has completely outweighed whatever I supposedly "saved" by purchasing the membership. They have lost a customer; I was planning on going back this summer to buy another pair, but I won't shop there again. So disappointed; I would have recommended them to specific friends that needed help with shoe shopping.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Lisa who helped me find a new running shoe yesterday. I have been running for more than 20 years and a few years ago they stopped making the Saucony I loved so I have bounced from shoe to shoe without finding one that felt right (I got new pains in a variety of places!) After listening to what I liked about my old shoe, as well as considering the drop and cushioning level I needed, she took the time to bring out many different options that were all new to me. I didn't feel rushed and ended up walking out with a shoe I would have never considered without her expertise.

I was assisted by Anthony. This guy let me try on 7 pairs of shoes and he exhibited extreme patience with me! I have a foot disorder, so my needs are probably a bit more complex than most customers. Kudos to Anthony!

Anthony was professional, helpful, patient and kind despite being assigned a plethora of customers. He handled all of it with a smile and grace. Oscar was super helpful and patient at the register. One employee passed out small water bottles. Nice touch. Please give your staff more help so they may all deliver the level of service your company is known for and set your employees up for success.,

Went in by recommendation from a friend about 2 weeks ago. There was about a 30 min wait, but that wasn't really an issue for me. I specifically came to get my feet analyzed to pick out supportive shoes, or atleast insoles. Unfortunately, the staff member that was assigned to help me was unable to assist me at any step of this process. He didn't offer it in the first place and I had to ask him for that service. When he finally obliged, much to his confusion and dismay, he seemed confused on how to work the machine. Didn't tell me to roll my pants up so the pictures came out with no information. Didn't offer to retake them. Didn't have me go on the actual walking portion of the analysis. And to top it off, insulted the birks I was wearing, insinuating that they were fake. Also, there's only 1 option for non slip shoes and they are very ugly.

We've been going to RR for years and they never disappoint. We're both the type of people who spend the entire day there (some people do), we just like to be in and out and Parker has always taken care of us the best way. He's patient, quick, professional, kind and really makes us feel like we're family. RR has great employees access the board but Parker is truly special.

I went in skeptical that a pair of shoes could make that big of a difference. I did the foot scan, learned how I run and where my weight was distributed, and then which shoes would be best for me. I bought a pair or running shoes and the custom insoles, and I’m so glad I did. Sign up for the VIP program and you have 90 days to test out your gear and make sure you love it.

First timer; and I had a wildly and exceptional experience, start to finish. Soles, shoes, and staff were wonderful -and Cognizant to my needs. Became a member myself as I was impressed with their long standing VIP members who have been devoted to them for years. Shoe selection is vast. Got with Brooks Brand and the color choice, I couldn't be anymore excited. Wore these baddies out and felt great too!Can't wait to get the best out my footwear membership, thanks again y'all!
