The Rite Aid pharmacy is not great. I have used them for years because of convenience since I live down the street from them. But this past month of being sick (bronchitis) and using this pharmacy has taught me they really don't care about customers even when it comes to helping someone breath easier. I had picked up a rescue inhaler that my doctor prescribed and when it stopped working, I thought it may have ran out. I tried to get a refill and they told me it was too early. I brought the inhaler to the pharmacy to show them and talked with a pharmacist. She could not care less. She told me to call the number on the box and complain to the manufacturer. When my doctor prescribed a second inhaler, they said it would take a day to fill and four days later, they still did not have it. I talked to the manufacturer and they told me to take it back to the pharmacy and have them call and gave a reference number. When I tried doing that today, I learned that all I needed to do was rinse the applicator. The pharmacist who I talked to last week could have saved me a lot of coughing/breathing struggles this past week if she cared enough to help. Long story short, I am now with CVS, which I have to drive out of my way but they at least text me when things are ready and seems much nicer.

Most absurd sign on the bathroom, stating it's locked to "provide a better shopping experience" whatever that means. Yet, when you get into the bathroom there is garbage everywhere, the toilet, sink, and urinal are nasty with caked on dirt, grime, and feces, and to top it all off there's no toilet paper!I'm not sure what "shopping experience" is improved by not being able to pee when you need to, but if you're restricting access to the bathrooms to only a Chosen Few, how do they possibly get this dirty? Unless you just don't clean them!

I went into my local Rite-Aid to pick up some ice cream that was on sale. As I went to check out, the line was very long. Only one cashier was working the register, but soon others were called to check out customers. Until help arrived I was standing in line for around ten minutes. Now, I have arthritis in my knees. Walking or standing for any prolonged time becomes difficult and extreemly painful. It would've been nice to have somewhere to sit. A bench or some chairs would have made a short trip to pick up some ice cream much easier. By the time I reached the resister, I could barely make it. The associate noticed I was in pain and asked me if I was okay. A very kind gesture on her part. I told her I had trouble walking now because of my knee problem. She asked what she could do to help. I asked her if she could bring me a shopping cart so I could use it as a walker to get to my car. She hurried over got one and brought it to me. She placed my ice dream in the cart, then offered to help me to my car. Noticing that the line was still long to check out, I politely refused. She seemed to understand why I had. She said thank you, and wished me a nice day. She was a very sweet girl. It's unfortunate I didn't catch her name. For her to notice I was in some distress and offer to help touched me. Very few people in this day and age care when they see someone who could use a hand. It didn't used to be that way and it saddens me that it's not anymore. It gives me hope when a total stranger offers help because they care to notice. Bless you Rite-Aid employee what ever your name be.

Staff is so nice, but they deserve more. The store feels kinda run down with old flooring and how displays are laid out. Maybe if Rite Aid CEOs weren't so stingy and provided more benefits, they wouldn't be so short-staffed.

Rite Aid is a extremely wonderful store to shop. Explore the store and find items you didn't know you needed. Brownie points if you find Elvis as well. Thank you Rite Aid.

This is a great Rite Aid. The Pharmacy always does its best to ensure I get my refills just in time (I have a prescription that is difficult to fill due to limited availability) and if there is ever an issue with my refills, they immediately work on a solution in a professional and caring way. Great pharmacy team!

This pharmacies staff is amazing!! The head pharmacist Farnaz and Andria and Ariana and the rest of the staff have always been so helpful, knowledgeable and create such a welcoming environment.Over the years they have always been so fast and on point with everything, I will only recommended friends and family go here for all of their prescriptions and pharmacy shopping. So many other pharmacies over the years have made big errors loosing prescriptions sent in or sent me in circles with doctors. That has never happened once in all the years I have been coming here is pretty amazing.Highly recommend this pharmacy and staff even if it is further drive than the pharmacy near you. Is well worth the drive if you want things done correctly and not to be treated as a number. Would give them 10 stars if I could.

I went to see my doctor for an upper respiratory infection and had it called to this Rite Aid. Big mistake. I received notification that my script was ready for pick up. When I arrived at the pharmacy I was told the script was rejected by the pharmacist and they needed to contact the doctor for another prescription. It was 6:30pm on. Friday. I told them the doctor is no longer there and asked my the prescription for a 5 day course of Zpack (antibiotic) was rejected. First I was told it was because there was no refill. I told them there is never a refill on a Zpack since it's always a 5 day regimen ( not sure why I had to tell the pharmacy staff this). After that I was told by another pharmacy staff that the dosage was off. It was the normal dose 500mg that loading dose comes in then followed by 250mg for 4 days. Basically the pharmacist made a mistake and rejected my prescription so I was left without medication feeling sick for the weekend. I would stay clear of this place when you really need your meds because it seems that the pharmacy here is inadequate and poorly educated.

I absolutely love this Rite Aid location! It's super clean, and the employees are amazing! I'd like to let you all know about a man named Elvis who works at this location. He is super kind and patient and took all of my change without having an attitude! I had to get an item today and put I don't get paid until tomorrow, so he counted out all of my dimes and was super nice while doing so. I also switched my pharmacy to this location, even though it is out of the way for me. I live in Linda Vista, but would rather travel to Claremont for better pharmacy assistance!
