This pharmacy is horrible !! Come to shop cards and stuff - the staff it's super friends in the front but the pharmacy is horrible and they just don't even care ! I came 4 hrs after my prescription was called in and she said oh go find these on the floor. They didn't help me call someone from the store to unlock what k needed - they called my name but then no one's helpings and recline was crazy long. Go somewhere else with better service pls especially when you're sick.

Rude and helpful hang up in your face choose any other pharmacy besides this one I would say Walgreens, because at least they don't hang up with your face!

I have been going to this Rite Aid for years. Today I went to go buy some Christmas cards for my family and some other things at about 10:40pm. The security guard "tsk"ed at me and was rude the whole time I was there. This guy labelled me a thief in seconds and decided to be nasty. I didn't cause the homeless problem in the country nor did I change the law to basically allow shoplifting or pass laws to charge money for plastic bags. Many people bring in bags to not pay for them in the store. CVS/Rite Aid etc are dying off because of theft, having security guards be nasty to paying customers isn't going to solve the problem. This was pathetic, give the guy a chair and let him be on his phone, the same amount of actual work would get done.

I told the lady at the counter I needed a money order for $249 and she gave me one for $200. I’m really stressed out and didn’t realize it until I asked for the second money order. She was too distracted to focus. She and the manager would not let me get a refund and when I asked for a second money order the manager said I could not use my debit card.

No better place to go for your pharmacy and store needs. Friendly efficient and caring staff. They are respectful caring happy to help in any way so that you get your medicine and other products to keep you in good health. Been a customer for over 15 years and will continue to be a customer as long as I can stay with them.

I am compelled to share a frustrating experience I had at the Rite Aid located at 535 Robinson Ave., San Diego. As a physician, I encountered an urgent case where I needed to prescribe Augmentin, a non-controlled substance, for a veteran potentially suffering from community-acquired pneumonia. Due to specific circumstances that made electronic prescribing impractical, I resorted to calling in the prescription, a practice supported under certain conditions by California prescribing laws.However, this effort to ensure timely medical care for my patient was met with an unexpected obstacle at Rite Aid. Athena, the pharmacist on duty, declined to accept the telephone prescription. Despite my explanation of the urgent nature of the situation, Athena's refusal to process the prescription was both surprising and contrary to the flexible approach often necessary in such medical scenarios.This experience was in stark contrast to my subsequent interaction with Walgreens, where I called in the same prescription and it was accepted and filled without any complications. The ability of Walgreens to accommodate the phone order underscores the unnecessary barrier created by Athena at Rite Aid.The role of pharmacists in the healthcare system is undeniably crucial, and it's imperative that they align with legal and practical guidelines for prescription handling, especially in urgent cases. The incident with Athena at the Rite Aid on Robinson Avenue highlights a significant concern in timely healthcare delivery. I hope this serves as a constructive call for Rite Aid to review and potentially update their policies, ensuring better cooperation in patient care and adherence to state regulations.

I felt really uncomfortable with night security guard following me in the store...i don't know, if he liked me or thought I was stealing, cause all he kept doing was following me from shopping aisle to aisle I kept going, too...

Rite Aid in Hillcrest has the friendliest staff and a super clean store. I can always get what I need, and find someone to assist me if I need help. Miguel is always so kind and I appreciate his energy. Thank you!

Good day everyone I just wanted to share my experience with everyone about my GREAT EXPERIENCE at this store.... I have been coming to this location for a long time now and EVERY TIME I step foot inside I am greeted by the most respective workers and the service is GREAT I want to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH TO "RENEE ARCHULETTA" and "TERRY" I believe she is a manager of course there is more staff I'd like to complement I just don't know all there names regardless the experience is ALWAYS hands down the best and I suggest anyone to stop by and see if your day becomes better after walking out... I will continue to drive from Imperial Beach just to stop by and get some shopping done...... Thank you RITE AID for a wonderful experience....

I’m not usually one to complain or leave a bad review, but I never encountered so much rudeness from this store before yesterday and I go there all the time because I work at a clinic nearby. I walked in asked for my online order and the employee with light brown reddish hair had an attitude as soon as I told her i got a confirmation email not an “it’s ready” email. Asked me what was in my order, I said it’s private and I’d rather not say it out loud in front of the entire group of employees and customers staring at me. She proceeded to help two other customers who came in AFTER me before packing the order for me. Then Condescendingly tried to teach me how to make an online order and wait for the confirmation that it’s ready before coming to the store. I was buying a plan b so I asked for a free paper bag for privacy reasons, and she told me they didn’t have any. I was in the store earlier and they had paper bags, so I’m not sure why all of a sudden they didn’t. She asked for 10 cents to pay for a regular bag but all I had was $10, and after she gave me my change I said thank you and she ignored me and walked away.

I just sat in my car for an hour and 10 min waiting for my text message that my prescription was ready. She said "15-20", I went up to let them know I can come back later if they need more time. She said oh no it's ready... I am so pissed off. Didn't get any message. I am set up for messages I just got a prescription last week and got a message. Fix the system, just a waste of my time. So angry.
