This review is for the pharmacy. The staff of this Rite Aid pharmacy is spectacular, they always go above and beyond when it come to filling prescriptions quickly and figuring out issues with my insurance. They are always helpful with any questions I have overall a great team!

New in UTC area so I transferred my medication to this RITE AID since it is only 10 min from where I live. My doctor called my medication. I picked up my medication and I did not inspect it until I got home. RITE AID gave me the wrong medication and when I called the pharmacist seems to not know the difference between hydrobromide and hydrochloride- which are the salts in the medication. My doctor prescribed the medication with hydrobromide and not hydrochloride. When I explained this to the pharmacist and indicated that I will returned the medication that they gave me and I need the medication that my doctor prescribed. I told the pharmacist I have been taking the medication for 5 years so I know what it is. The pharmacist even argue with me, since I have been taking this medication for 5 years- I know the medication I am taking. The pharmacist said they cannot give me the medication that my doctor prescribed because it is the same which clearly it is not. It is a 90 day prescription and I paid for it with GoodRX- now I have to call my doctor again to send the prescription in another pharmacy but GoodRx is not going to cover because I already picked up the prescription which is the wrong prescription. I made a mistake of going to this pharmacy because it is so close to where I live but I am never using this pharmacy again. I think she is a new pharmacist and clearly she should not be giving medication if you don't know the difference between hydrobromide and hydrochloride. Clearly it is the WRONG -AID and WRONG- PHARMACIST. I hope they know that they are messing with people lives when they give out wrong medication that's different from what my doctor prescribed.

Calling in for a refill and was greeted by a friendly person in the pharmacy. They will be ordering my medicine and it will come by tomorrow. Just happy to have a human contact and a polite helpful voice on the other end of the phone.

If I could give a negative star review for this "rite" aid, I would. The store is fine but the pharmacy is majorly mis-managed. Please notice that I do not give bad reviews - I generally leave positive feedback only. But....I am BEYOND pissed. I was told by this WRONG-AID, that they would fill a prescription I needed to fill - that they had the medication in stock - so I contacted my dr to call it in. She did. By the time "rite" aid received it, they were out of that mg strength, but they told me they could fill it for a different strength if my dr changed the RX. I CALLED MY DR AGAIN and asked her to change it, which she finally did. Keep in mind that it is no easy feat to get a hold of one's dr these days. Lots of hold time and multiple phone calls are required. So all this took almost a WEEK - I called the "WRONG AID" over and over to check on the status of my RX. And not ONE TIME WAS I EVER ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD NOT FILL IT. THEY ACTUALLY TOLD ME THEY WOULD FILL IT IF THEY HAD IT IN STOCK. So last night I showed up without calling because I knew that my dr had called it in by the message SHE left me. So there was a substitute pharmacist working who told me that actually THEY WOULD NOT FILL IT DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HADNT HAD AN RX FILLED THERE FOR 2 YEARS! Um excuse me but I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD FILL IT on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS --- A WEEK AGO. Also keep in mind that I have been coming to this particular store since it was Thrifty's 50 years ago. I was told by the sub that the pharmacy manager, DARREN would be in in the morning. I came back in the morning and explained the whole situation to him, and he was just as USELESS AND RUDE. He reiterated to me that he would not help me - even though his inept staff had told me they would - JUST BECAUSE I HAD NOT BEEN THERE FOR AN RX FOR 2 YEARS. THe only reason I stopped using them 2 years ago was because they changed manufacturers of the medicine I was taking at that time and the new one didn't agree with me, and they wouldn't switch back! So who abandoned the relationship here. Not me. SO THEY JUST WASTED A WEEK OF MY LIFE AND MY DR'S EFFORTS to get my prescription filled. SO NOW I HAVE TO CALL MY DR YET AGAINNN to have her change the PHARMACY and the strength because these idiots are inept and don't know how to communicate. I asked Darren for the name and phone # of HIS manager. He wrote it down on a card. TAMMY SEAT is supposedly her name. I called right there on the spot and the NUMBER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED. What the EF. I told Darren about it and HE REFUSED TO DOUBLE CHECK THE NUMBER FOR ME AND SAID THAT WAS THE ONLY NUMBER HE HAD and then dismissed me. OH REALLY, THAT MAKES SENSE (if you want to give people the run-around). This is not the way to treat people, much less CUSTOMERS. Not only is this pharmacy now forever known as WRONG-AID, they are also known as LAME-AID.

After going to several CVS & Walgreens locations searching for plan b, without finding anything. I lost all hope. So i figured i would give it one more try, so i stumbled into this Rite Aid location. I was greeted by a young lady who was very polite and helpful, I believe her name was Heather. She saw the distraught on my face as my 48 hrs was coming to an end with no ‘Plan B’ in sight. I told her my situation, with understanding and no judgement, Heather ran to the back. With only a few minutes left to spare, she came out letting me know that unfortunately they were out of Plan B, but luckily they had one ‘Option 2’ left (RiteAids version). So i snagged it, and a Dasani water and chugged it in my car. It worked like a charm! So thank you so much Heather, you are so helpful.

I wouldn’t give the one star if I could.According to the time and date I was scheduled for a job appointment ,I went to the interview location on date and time scheduled . However, the person I met there refused to interview me, as she put it like they managed to get someone else to work but she didn't call me , OR ANYONE DID to cancel the interview as she said I didn't add my phone number!!!! despite all the emails between us in less than 48 hours as though was my fault!!I had to take time permit “unpaid” from my work for the interview!! She didn't even give me a reason why I wasn't interviewed!!! Overthat she was RUDE to be honest. It was really waste of time and moneyIs this the RULES for Rite Aid !!!! Is this professional!? Really disappointed

Have to come to this store because CVS stopped filling my prescription. Pharmacy closes at 6pm on Sundays which is beyond inconvenient. But biggest issue for me is not updating your hours of operation on the door for the pharmacy, which clearly changed a long time ago per the cashier I asked. Says 10pm monday--friday (yes, for the pharmacy specifically) so I came out of my way just after 9pm to go there only to find out it closes at 9. POST YOUR CORRECT/UPDATED HOURS IF YOU CHANGE THEM!!!!

back for another quick errand at Rite Aid and in addition to my last review of this location, and the "wonderful" attitude the cashier had, I'd also like to take this time to call out the afro haired Phillip for his absolutely terrible customer service and attitude. The lady ahead of me in line was cheery and she got to the Phillip and said "hi how are you?" very nicely. Phillip just stood there and did not react at all. Nice. He seemed very uninterested in getting the correct price for her.I come up and say "hey how's it goin'?". Again, no response, just stands there. It's probably the fingernail polish he has on his nails that's leaking some sort of poison into his bloodstream that's causing him to appear lifeless and unhelpful. Or maybe it's because the people he was helping were caucasian. Bottom line, dude needs an attitude adjustment from management. Or let him go. This Rite Aid only seems to hire woke cashiers

Typical rite aid strategy. I went to get the booster shot and earlier called and you can't get through. Went in and the website says they take walk-ins. Of course he said well the website hasn't been updated yet and that they actually don't take walk-ins and then I said that you can't get through on the phone and he said yes you can so let's just say same old thing not helpful don't care wrong information disorganized understaffed don't care.

Got some passport pictures, they weren't the right size, they don't cut them for you either, the skin tone was so bright and when we asked them to check them out, they didn't want to fix it.

Filthy! We visited the 4077 Governor Drive San Diego CA location on June 10th for Covid vaccines for my children. The store, and in particular, the pharmacy waiting area, was filthy. Dust clumps and dirt piling in the corners. The pharmacy tech who administered the shots to my children was very inexperienced. She offered a tray of bandaids to my son so he could "pick one". That is not sanitary and I made her open a new box of bandaids. She did not do a good job giving my youngest his shot and I coukd see the skin pulling on the needle as she took it out of his arm. He was crying. The store manager had a very laissez-faire attitude when I complained about the dirt, as did the pharmacist.

My mother made a pickup order, but never got a confirmation email that the order was ready for pickup. She called them ~90 minutes after the order was placed, and they said it would be ready. By the time I showed up, it was 2 hours after the order was placed. They never had collected the items, and only started to do so once I was there.Even when realizing they made an error, the manager couldn't be bothered to show a sense of urgency. She even made light of the mistake towards the employee who got 'distracted' from collecting the order. When my mother called them again, frustrated, the manager could only offer a defensive apology.Oh, and when they finally gave me the pickup, I only discovered once I left the store that an item was missing.Oh, and they charged us twice for a bag fee, even though there was only 1 bag.Normally I couldn't be bothered by poor customer service as it happens (I myself have worked in retail). But never in my life have I seen not just horrid work ethic, but outright disrespect towards the customer. What a shame.

I love shopping at this Rite aid location because I feel welcomed as I'm walking through the door I'm always greated with a smile and hello. When I couldn't find a certain product i was looking for, Heather went above and beyond to help me find something that was similar so I didn't walk out disappointed or empty handed. Lastly as I was in line to check out the store manager Mike had rung me up just so that I didn't have to wait too long. So this is why I give this Rite aid location 5 stars.
