Ray is the best! This is a close bodega to us so we always end up stopping by when I get that Diet Coke craving or we just really need some gummy bears. Ray is so kind and friendly and really makes this place what it is. He is a great example of neighborhood business owners who enrich everyone's daily life :) they also have cool snacks from Mexico and a wide variety of ice creams, chips candy and drinks!

We have been living in North Park for a few years, and Rays in within walking distance of our home. Ray and Paul are some of the kindest, and funniest people we know. They truly are like family, and they treat you with so much respect and love. You can really tell that they care so much about their neighborhood and everyone who comes into their store. They really do make you feel like family. Definitely come by and grab a few drink, snacks and a great conversation. Their selection has a great amount to choose from! Thanks for always being kind and caring! No matter where we move to, we will always stop by to say hello to our friends and Ray's liquor store. (:

Know the owner over 40yrs. Mike's brothers own Minit Mart in Linda Vista. This family has cooked Thanksgiving meals for the community since 40+ years. Every year without fail.

I am gonna say to be careful parking here because as I was in the car with my friend and her child some random guy approached us in the parking lot. Scared us and wouldn't leave us alone until we paid him 50 bucks . HE EVEN BLOCKED US IN THE PARKING LOT. Of course giving us the sob story how he needed money , The van he was with was packed with people which made us more scared so we just paid him to get our of our way and than he threw his fake jewelry at us and finally left us alone.

I will never shop here again. I have lived in the neighborhood since 2006 and shop here regularly. This evening they let one of their clientele leash their pitbull right next to the entrance and I was barked and growled at while entering the business. I complained to the store manager who laughed it off. I refused to be intimidated while entering a public business. That is not ok.
