Walked in and had a great experience with Leslie Talley. She is fun, kind, and has a great eye for design. She also helped us source some difficult to find parts after our time on the show floor, and made great overall recommendations for our bathroom remodel.

This post speaks to the ethical nature of the dealings recently had with the manager Dave Mc Cowan. He handled the matter of a costly return with integrity & expedience. It's always nice to know you are dealing with a reputable company & the word should get out.

We went in on a recommendation of a contractor, but had no idea we needed to set an appointment. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, even though we had just come to browse and get ideas. Particularly Veronica and Luis. Highly recommend, but maybe call for an appointment first ?

I purchased flooring material from this store twice and I've had a positive experience on both occasions. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Plenty of options to choose from, and very competitive pricing. Luis was my account manager. He went above and beyond my expectations. During the first purchase in the midst of 2020 pandemic, Luis was extremely responsive, provided updates, tracked my order, and ensured every item was delivered as promised despite the supply chain issues. This positive experience led me to shop at Pro Source again in 2022. The second time was quite different. I wanted the order to be delivered to a different city (to a ProSource warehouse nearby) and Luis ensured my order was routed to the destination location. The destination warehouse was unaware of my order to begin with, Luis contacted them and let them know about an incoming delivery. I was able to pickup the order and the entire transaction was smooth. I would highly recommend working with ProSource and Luis for your flooring needs.

I went to ProSource after getting 2 very high estimates for remodeling my kitchen. I was assigned to Heidi and Jeanine. They are designers and get all the info about what you want to do (including measurements, etc.) They then make a mock up of what everything will look like. This is where I am in the process. They gave me the picture of how my kitchen would look with my cabinet choices and layout and a price for the cabinets. The price was much lower than my previous estimates. Heidi and Jeanine are great! All items were just as I had hoped. We are now moving on to find a great countertop and backsplash. I highly recommend both these ladies and ProSource.

We needed to find carpet for our Livingroom. We found many options at Prosource at good prices. We didnt need much help as we spent hours trying different samples. We are very happy with the carpet and thick padding we chose. We will go back if we need more flooring. A side note, I suggest finding a carpet installer recommended from other sources. They may be significantly cheaper.

Bottom line: BE CAREFUL BE VERY CAREFUL Last week we finally were able to get the last outstanding repair to our complete kitchen remodel and it only took 6 months. This is the fourth major remodel we've undertaken in the last three years. The first was a complete nightmare on all accounts. The second and third were by the same contractor and were great but were rather costly because of the overhead service but was worth it because it taught us what we needed to know about dealing with home renovations. This last one was both the best and possibly the worst. Normally, problems with a remodel are with the contractor doing the work. That was not the case for this kitchen remodel. Our contractor was the best you could ask for. The problem was with the associated supplier. For this project we used ProSource of San Diego located at 6730 Top Gun Street, San Diego, CA 92121. The process entailed was we sat down with a designer and a logistic specialist to work the design and select the materials (cabinets, cabinet hardware, tile, countertops, etc.). Once the design was complete and you paid the entire cabinet order and 50% of the remaining material cost, then the design was released to you and your contractor. This part of the process went very well and both the designer and the logistic agent were very attentive and accommodating. We planned our project well in advance to accommodate the schedule of the contractor and the delivery of the materials. Although we were told ProSource was in a position to sale materials at a lower price than the other retailers or manufacturers because they were a national wide company and, in a position, to provide such a saving to the customer. I soon learned that was not the case. ProSouce does not sale appliances, but I was able to get my new kitchen faucet, disposal switch, sink, and other items at a lower price between 20% and 50% less through Amazon or another retailer. I also learned that the materials, less the cabinets, were available from other sellers at a lower price and the delivery charge was extremely high. Now for the problem. We specifically told our designer that for our bathroom remodels we bought Masterbrand Starmark cabinets and we wanted the same because they were top of the line and the best quality we could ask for. ProSource is a reseller for Masterbrand cabinets, but they don't supply Starmark. Our designer told us that Masterbrand Kemper were the same quality so that is what we went with. She assured us that the Kemper brand was the same level of quality and workmanship as Starmark. I was also told that the cabinets quality is based on the construction (NOT THE FINISH). Such things as dovetail joints, type of wood used, thickness of the cabinet bases, hardware (hinges, glides), etc. Our design required 22 individual cabinets (plus trim), which were a simple shaker style, solid maple, with a painted finish, for the entire project costing over $25,000.00. The cabinets arrived early on in the project. My contractor had them opened and inspected and noticed some flaws and asked us to inspect. We did a thorough inspection of every piece and immediately learned that 90% of the cabinets had flaws in the finish. These flaws included: - chips - highly visible seams and joints - rough finishes (not sanded properly) - inconsistent painting I took detailed photos of each cabinet with close ups of each flaw and provided them to ProSource. A meeting was scheduled on site to review the flaws with our ProSource designer, ProSource Operations Manager, and the local Masterbrand representative. We showed them the flaws and my bottom-line observation is that 1) the construction of the cabinets was satisfactory, however the finishing of the cabinets, milling, sanding, priming, and painter was the poorest quality I've seen. It was obvious that Kemper did not perform any acceptable quality control during the manufacturing process. Both the Masterbrand and ProSource representative agreed with our findings and they would re-order with a rush priority one entire cabinet and replace

This review is for the services conducted so far (selecting materials, quoting, and order) - as the material I ordered has not been delivered yet - I can't attest to that part yet and will update later. That being said, my experience at ProSource and my account manager, Tara, has been wonderful (though the rest of the staff has been friendly when I've stopped by as well). Tara patiently helped me select and procure samples for counters and flooring when in retrospect, I was probably being more picky than I thought I could be. She went beyond her role in providing design feedback and suggestions (at times, going beyond email to text and follow up with me), and I sincerely appreciated her honest feedback and eye. For example, at one point I had 12 different samples of speckled, sparkle white quartz; I conceded in retrospect that they all look realllly similar. I couldn't discern between the samples and she'd notice the very subtle tone differences and suggest which would look best based on other swatches I had pulled from my home. That type of feedback was so helpful! I probably worked with her over the course of 4 months (yes, I was really that picky) and probably took home a total of 30 samples, while she ordered me an additional 15 or so, straight to my home. I felt bad about the inconvenience of taking so long to decide but the entire time, she expressed no impatience and said "this is a big decision for your home, we want to make sure we get it right" and I sincerely appreciated that! Quoting and payment (once I finally got there) was painless. I appreciated her looking out for upcoming price hikes and shipments. While I've not received the material yet (they were known backordered) I'm confident in the rest of the process based on the extremely positive experience I've had with Tara thus far. Give the woman a raise!

BE CAREFUL BE VERY CAREFULLast week we finally were able to get the last outstanding repair to our complete kitchen remodel and it only took 6 months. The ProSource designer recommended a cabinet line that was below the quality level we asked for and lied telling us the line the recommended was the same quality as a previously live we used in our bathroom remodels. The cabinets came in flawed and over 80% of the cabinet parts were reorder on three separate occasions. The end result was that the manufacturer agreed to have a refinishing company come in and take care of the problem. The issue was the ProSource interfered and attempted to lead the warranty negotiations instead of allowing the manufacturer to deal with it. The ProSource General Manager also tried to get us to sign a waiver to give up our warranty rights in exchange for a cash settlement. In the end based on information I received from the Manufacturer corporate office and the CA Consumer Affairs Department, ProSource exceeded their legal responsibilities. In the end, I dealt with the manufacturer directly and the problem was finally resolved and it only took four extra monthsThe bottom line in all of this, is that you cannot trust anyone. You need to research and learn all aspects of any remodeling project and make your decisions based on all of the information you gather and not on a so-called expert who’s only goal is to get a sale. Would I use ProSource again, probably not, and if I did, I would ensure I knew everything up front and ensure everyone involved new their responsibilities and it would be in writing. Always read the small print, because like ProSource their first priority is themselves, then their suppliers, and then the customer.

Thank you ProSource. After a couple of years we needed to replace a couple of defective floor panels in our living room. Everything was taken care with no problems and Steve our installer did a great job. Thank you for making it a very positive experience. I highly recommend ProSource to anyone looking for updating their home. Hal & Judy Grant

We're undergoing a full home remodel and ProSource was a phenomenal resource. Their showroom includes: hardwood flooring, tile, carpet, kitchen cabinetry (Which is impossible to find elsewhere), bathroom hardware (shower systems), kitchen hardware (faucets, sinks) and more. We worked with Sarah. She's awesome. Super friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend.
