Even though they are "authorized" drop-off points, if you drop off a package, they are not liable if it never reaches the mail carrier. Also confirmed with the regional managing office for PostalAnnex that they are not responsible for any packages that are lost. Def would not recommend dropping off packages here. The disclaimer is on their receipt if you drop off, attached is a picture of what that looks like.

I went to pick up a case of wine shipped via FedEx here. Tracking indicated that it had been delivered to this business. It wasn't there and I was told to call FedEx which I did to start a tracer. The owner told me that Fed Ex would be back at 4:30. So, naturally, I went back at 4:30 to see if the box would be delivered. It was then, that they told me Fed Ex doesn't drop off, but only picks up at 4:30. Once FedEx completed their research, they found these people had refused my package. Why didn't they tell me that in the first place?? I called to find out if this unbelievable news was true and they said they refused it because they only hold FedEx packages if you also have a postal box there. Again, why didn't they mention this when I was there two times earlier?? Over the phone, the owner was extremely rude. These people have no business being in customer service industry. I will NEVER set foot in this store again and I advise that you stay clear too!

I had called in advance to inquire about any documentation needed to rent a PO Box. I brought said documents. The wife of the owner was rude and more than terse. She noted that my passport had expired by 16 days (not noting that I would even need that over the phone earlier) and I then noted that I brought the other documents they said they needed (e.g.,SDGE Bill). After some frustration, I ultimately left, sort of out of out of spite due to her rudeness. I’ll be taking my business an half mile from here.

I posted some docs using DHL, and the staff lady was very friendly and helpful. At the other counter, a customer came in and was asking why her sister had not received her package. She didn't have a tracking number or any other useful info, so called the sis, asked why FedEx is not calling her, etc. and finally, it came up that there had been a package delivery attempt, but the sis was not home then! If I were the dude at the counter, I would be furious with the nonsense and the total waste of time! What a patient man! I'm pretty sure the customer is going to write a 1-star review! ?

Horrible customer service. I was treated so poorly from the minute I asked a question the man at the desk did not feel like serving.This SPECIFIC location will not accept USPS drop offs after pickup from carrier however other locations do. Claims it is unlawful and they are not authorized.This franchise treats customers poorly when asking questions and has different policies than other locations. Their chosen policies are not in favor of clients who use online reselling tools as drop off times are not convenient with the policy’s they’ve chosen to implement.Use UPS or FedEx store’s direct for cheaper pricing and better service or another Postal Annex since these are franchises.Update: Called corporate and this franchise lied to me. They are absolutely allowed to hold packages after USPS picks up. Corporate was very surprised and made a point to let me know this was independently run however they would call and mark this as a complaint against the location.Leads me to believe that refusal to service me was based on factors out of my control.They claim this is store policy to not hold packages after any carrier picks up and this is done at this locations discretion.

I was out in San Diego for a vacation and got delayed multiple times by Southwest so I ended up shipping some of my belongings back to New Hampshire. The gal at the postal annex was so helpful she put together the box we put the belongings in. We closed it up she taped it professionally. And it arrived on time! I highly recommend the postal annex.

I've tried to give this location several chances but it's just been a very negative experience every time I ship here. Very poor customer service and terrible attitudes from the employees. Plus, when do Postal Annexes not give a receipt for your packages? Every other location gives receipts but this one refuses to. Employee made it clear that Postal Annex is not liable if a package goes missing from the time I've dropped it off to the time it's handed off to the courier. How would it go missing in your Postal Annex facility? I was told several times they're not liable for packages in THEIR care? Under THEIR watch? Wait... what?

Ridiculously overpriced. I do not advise going here. I needed to ship something next day delivery by DHL & they wanted $250 when the DHL shipping quote was $140. i asked why they wanted $110 over the DHL shipping quote & the lady just looked at me & had no answer. i can understand adding some for the convenience of dropping it off at a closer location but $110 extra is absurd. This store gives other Postal Annex locations a bad reputation/name. A complete rip off, what a joke. Avoid this location at all costs.

They don't accept USPS packages past noon (or whenever USPS picks up their packages). They don't take any packages with QR codes. Staff was also really rude. Save your time and go anywhere else.

Open going to this local postal annex for the past 13 years for my employer and have built a relationship with the owners Raja is the wife she's very calm and she has a very wonderful customer service she always has gone above and beyond for my boss and I always asking how we're doing how is his health and greets me every time as well as her husband Ahmad his old school mannerism is not what the reviews have said he's very respectful and laughs with me and just listening to me venting at times and always has a smile on his face and loves his family very much I would continue to support a mom and pop business that is trying to evolve and provide for their family then other big successful businesses that see us as just a number This postal annex has never closed down since I've been working in Mira Mesa since 2009 so they're doing something right with multiple resources including notary to scanning to emails to packaging even when life is rough through this pandemic and our health is at Jeopardy they are always open to the public supporting one another through their challenges I respect this beautiful married couple and their business 100% these days people expect instant gratification We're human we are not robots like society is trying to make us. Much love to you both and may God bless you abundantly .
