Had to send a fedex priority shipment for work. Charged me extra fees for packaging (which I guess is to be expected from a non fedex location). Found out the next day the package hasn't even been shipped because the owner had to close shop due to "personal reasons." Despite me dropping the package in morning time. If you want your shipments to be delayed with additional payment/fees, this is the one.

It's the second time I've been treated badly by the old lady who works at this place, and I didn't ask for anything more, nothing more than what the attached postal service offers. I felt humiliated asking to print a simple copy.

Very rude customer service!I walked in around 1:45 pm on a Friday. When I walked in, I saw one lady sitting at the counter with eyes closed. I thought to myself, maybe she's resting her eyes? Maybe she's praying? I let her be for a moment as I continued walking into the store. I hear a voice say, "can I help you?" To which I replied, "yes, I would like to drop off this envelope" (to be shipped via FedEx)The lady then scans my envelope and asks if I would like a receipt, which I replied "yes please" Her response was "oh well you need to communicate that and not just stand there" (she still had the scanner and my envelope in her hand! It did not appear that she was done with the collection process!)She hands me my receipt and walks away. I walk out of the store, take a few steps, then turn around and go back in the store to ask her if it is normal for people to just drop off packages and not get a receipt. She told me "yes because the receipt has the same info as the label you printed and put on the envelope" I told her that my envelope came to me with the shipping label already attached! (It was a return shipping envelope I am sending onboard behalf of my employer)The tone, attitude, and body language of this employee was very negative, and unfriendly at the least. Bad experience all around. Unfortunately, I may use this business again due to the very close proximity to my work. But who knows, I may go out of my way to another store with better customer service!

I waited for over 3 minutes at the counter while the lady was working on packages. She saw me but didn't acknowledge me. I would have stayed if she simply acknowledged my presence and gave me an ETA. This place doesn't understand that its entire existence relies on customer service ... This isn't good for the entire Postal Annex brand.

This is a place of business that deals with that which is postal-related. This includes postcards and thank you cards. At times, you may find products related to shipping. This may include boxes and tape. If you’re in need of a PO BOX, you might find one here. If you shop here often, the employees might remember you.

Takes forever, service is terrible and lady wanted me to pay for a whole new roll of overpriced tape to tape a 12” seem. She also didn’t want to give me a receipt. I had to request it twice. Save your time and go to an actual fedex location. This place sucks

This location of Postal Annex is a joke. They have terrible service, especially by the old lady that works there. The prices are outrageous, $84 for the smallest box available for 3 months, also they don't tell you this until you sign the paperwork that there is another fee of around $21 for keys. Be prepared to wait a very long time in line, and do not expect to be treated with respect. By the way, anyone staying in the San Diego area and in need of mail services, use the Compass center in Pacific Beach. While it may not be the exact area you desire, its free, that's right free. You have to check your mail every 90 days, that's all. My box expires the end of September and I just signed up at the Compass center, what a lifesaver. Also, if you have more that 5 or 6 amazon packages a month they start charging extra, the nerve of this place, after charging $28 a month plus fees, it really works out to about $35 a month, that's unbelievably high.
