Apparently not a bank. Was told that it’s Saturday and there wasn’t any money with the teller to withdraw what I needed. I came in 20 minutes before they closed and was blamed for that as well. Guess I need to schedule every part of my day around when they can produce money. They offered a cashiers check and when it was printed out looked like a second grader printed it.What joke this place it.

They should change the name to old school bank. Pros: have an actual building for this bank in my neighborhood. Cons: Operating like it's the 80's. I paid hundreds of thousands of dollars online, but now I want the final payment amount and they can't tell me. I had to actually go into a bank, have them request it from the same people I called, they then faxed (yes, FAX) to the bank teller who then handed it to me. Oh, but NO you can't make a payment to them in person or on the phone or online. I had to mail a cashiers check, no not my check but go into another bank and get a cashiers check and put in the mail to a PO box. It's now been 9 days and they still haven't cashed it. I can only imagine Stephen Root sitting in the basement opening one check at a time. Meanwhile, it's now past the due date for my $186 payment to be applied, so they'll likely charge me a late fee. F'n scam. I'll never use this bank for anything EVER again.

Went to PNC in Mira Mesa with all documentation as POA for my sister on our parent's account. No one could help me and said the person that was in charge of what I was asking, was not in and would call me.... 1 week later and still no call!!! Turns out, there was a discrepancy on the account but no one could tell me?!!

DO NOT USE THIS BANK! I would give this place negative stars if it were possible. I wish I listened to the horror stories. I decided to use PNC for a Heloc loan to put a down payment on a second home. When I went to the bank to sign my documents, another customer was inside screaming and going nuts. I decided to talk to him afterward and see what happened. Well, he had his original mortgage with BBVA. When PNC bought BBVA, instead of having him pay his normal monthly mortgage payment. PNC demanded he pay the entire of his loan off since they were a new bank. INSANE! Now to begin with my experience. They are the most useless and immoral bank ever. I had to go back in to the bank multiple times because Ronen kept forgetting to have me sign all the correct documents. The loan also was taking so long for the money to become available that I almost lost the offer on my house. I called Ronen weekly to see when my money would be available, to which he would reply it is "processing." I came down to the very last day before my home offer was going to fall through... I called Ronen and demanded to know right then an exact date when the money would be available. He called me back an hour later and said whoopsies the money has actually been available to you for the past week. Next, on the day we pull out the money from the Heloc loan, we come into the branch in person specifically to sign for a fixed rate loan. We spoke with Aaron and asked for a money transfer and fixed rate. It wasn't until two months later that I realized my bill was way higher than Ronen told me it would be. I called the bank just to find out Aaron never put it on a fixed rate. At this point, our bill is MORE THAN DOUBLE what we were told it would be by Ronen. Part of me still believes they did that on purpose to charge us more money after reading all the horrible reviews. I got so sick of trying to contact someone at the bank to fix the issue they messed up that I finally went in and spoke with the manager. Literally this banks only saving grace is the blonde female manager ( I am forgetting her name at this moment). She confirmed that the branch is an absolute shit show and the employees have no clue what they're doing since they were originally working with BBVA. They never got any new training and consistently mess up customers accounts. She was very sweet and listened to my entire story about how I had specified I wanted a fixed rate to EVERY SINGLE employee I worked with and they still never did it. She told me she would look into it and Ronen would call me back. Well, almost two months later I hear nothing back from him. I email him again to please fix my rate because it was due to their errors that our bill is now twice our original amount, to which he basically replies they don't care about the mistakes they made costing us a bunch of money and will not fix them. This branch is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Completely clueless and will not fix the mistakes they constantly make. Save yourself the money and stress.... RUN!

So happy PNC has made it's way out to the west coast - I grew up in Pittsburgh but moved out to San Diego earlier this year. I recently purchased a home and needed to make a wire transfer in person at the bank, because the amount was over the online limit. We ran into some bumps along the way as PNC is still working through integration challenges from the BBVA merger, but both Aaron and Megan at this branch were friendly and went above and beyond to help make sure my wire transfer went through on time and put my mind at ease. As a past PNC teller (from my college days), I know how stressful it can be behind the counter working with needy customers in a time crunch. Truly appreciate the exceptional customer service I received.
