Beautiful! A lovely area to sit, enjoy a gourmet popsicle or gelato, and catch a distant view of the sunset over the bay.

Thursday evenings with Manny Cepeda and his Orchestra is not to be missed. Salsa dancing from 6pm to 9pm twice a month on Thursdays. Always a joy to see the Piazza de Famiglia alive with people of all ages. Like being in Europe.Restrooms: The food court has public restrooms.Dog-friendliness: Lots of outdoor seating and dogs on leashes enjoying the fun!

Great location to meet friends, family or a date. Plenty of places to eat nearby and sometimes they have live music playing in the evening.

Cute small park in the south end of Little Italy. I went Friday night and there was a band that was just setting up in front of the fountain. The area in Little Italy had little stacks of pumpkins to decorate the street corners. Also walk around the area. It is just a few blocks but great for people watching and seeing the architecture of new and old. I loved these colorful houses on State street. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come see this area but if you’re already here stop by.

Loved spending time at this piazza during our SD trip. There's live music on weekends and drinks are allowed. We stayed across the street and had plenty of options for breakfast. Regardless of where we went during the day, we always spent time at the piazza before going to bed.

This is the heart of Little Italy area. Lots of tables set out in the Piazza. The fountain is pretty compared to what you might find in Italy. The sound of planes taking off every few few minutes above. The food hall in the piazza. The brunch spot.

We did Taste of Little Italy. Check in was quick at the Piazza and we were off on our way with a little postcard of participating restaurants. It was so fun and we were so full towards the end. Will definitely do it again!
