I have been coming here for almost a decade now. Jessica S has been giving me the best fades and care I could ever ask for. Every time I walk in for my appointment I am welcomed with the brightest smile and warmest vibe. Having a complimentary drink and a great conversation is always a nice break from work. I came in for a blowout at PaperDoll and was incredibly upset with the result. I arrived at my appointment time and Grace was quick to have me seated and ask what I wanted. I said that I was going to an all day event and needed my curls to last the entire day and that my hair struggles to hold a curl. She then proceeded to wash my hair. Up to this point everything seemed to be going well. Then it went downhill from there. She blowdried my hair with just detangler spray, no additional product to help with curl retention. She also blew it down straight on my head so there was no chance at any volume and did not use a circle brush or anything like that. She also didn't actually dry it all the way either, as when I got home the hair closest to my head was still cold. She then used a curling iron to create the loosest curls. They were falling out on the right side of my head by the time she got to the left side. She then added a ton of hairspray and sent me on my way. By the time I got home my hair was basically straight. I ended up having to go to CVS to buy a curling iron to redo my hair myself. As nice as the salon was, I have no intention of returning. I should've saved the $60 and just done my hair at home like I had to do anyway.

I entered with trepidation, being new to the area and in desperate need of a haircut. My hair is quite wavy and fine, and in the humid ocean air, it looked like I had put my hand in a socket. My stylist, Cindy Gettys, did a fantastic job on my roots and gave me an amazing shoulder-length shag. The pricing was very reasonable, and her cut has revived my curls beautifully. Highly recommend!
Hair type: My hair is type 2 a-2c waves and needs a curly hair specialist. Cindy definitely knew curly hair needs.

I've been seeing Jess for my gorgeous blonde balayage and long layered cut for a couple years and SHE DOES NOT MISS! Always flawless and leaving me feeling amazing! Had an amazing time getting my hair done by Maya. She does such an incredible job with colors. I love the mix of new vibrant colors with the slightly faded colors from the last session. She is an absolute joy to work with. I love her outgoing personality. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Grace, the stylist, didn't listen to me at all. Two very important reasons for the visit were gray roots and a cut to lift my heavy top. The gray around a woman's face is paramount. That was missed. And my hair was flattened and looked like it was glued to the top of my head. The complete opposite of what I asked for. Grace needs to listen to her clients. There should be a dialog. Explain what she just heard them say. She needs a few more years of experience.

I love this salon! I followed my stylist Maya Abassi here and it is wonderful! It is always super clean and friendly staff! the partnership they have with TapRoom next door is great and I can enjoy a relaxing drink while I get my hair done! Maya is AMAZING! She always gets my hair super vibrant and knows exactly what I want. She is super talented at cuts and vivids! If you want bright color, she's your girl!!! Reasonable prices and excellent service every time. Maya is quick to respond and easy to communicate with to make sure she gets your hair perfect every time!

I had the most incredible experience with Maya, a vivid and corrective color stylist! she's not only crazy talented and creative, but she's also super easy to vibe with. Her creativity is seriously next level, and she knows how to make my hair pop with all the vibrant colors I love! But you know what really stands out? The space she creates. She creates this amazing safe space where I feel completely seen and heard. It's like she just gets me!

I come here for Sarah! She has been doing my extensions for awhile and I wouldn’t have anyone else. She is particular to detail and takes special care. I have a large scar left over from multiple head surgeries and extensions have saved my life. Sarah does an incredible job, making me feel confident and taken care of. I highly recommend her and this salon!!
