Disgusting attitude from "Joy" (asian girl with glasses) if that's her real name, supposedly supervisor of printing area. I went to print cards for my business, for about the 6th time in months, and asked for the same thing that I always do and from first interaction her negative attitude was apparent. The request was simple "please remove margins and space between images in sheet" her answer was "I can't do that" I advised its never been an issue before and it has been done. She outright refused and was not willing to do. I asked if another person, that was standing nearby and had helped me in the past could do it, she refused and said she would not authorize anybody to help. The attitude and negativity was glaring out of her pretty much. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, ZERO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMER(business customer or otherwise) ...Disrespectful, unhelpful, negative. The request was just a few extra "clicks and delete" and she treated it as though it was hours of inconvenience... there was literally Noone else at desk or even the store for that matter.

never commented before. ever. but ppl should know. i bought $500 in printer ink. my printer was almost empty but it actually ended a month later. i needed the backup ink regardless. when i finally needed to replace the cartridges i realized i bought the wrong ink. took them back to get the correct ones and the mgr says its past the two week return period. i CALMLY explained i always buy from their store and i made a mistake. he repeated (arrogantly) the two week return policy. i said i simply made a mistake. i wasnt asking for a refund just an exchange. he repeated (cocky)). $500 gone! i walked out never to return. good luck everybody. NO STARS

Where is the best place to come and get your computer and laptop checked its one place you can also get things for the office and the many other smaller things that you may need? It's one of the best stores that I have seen many others that have been in so many cities and some of them have been in grocery stores for many times. To many people that when you need things for the offi9s get orders done online but I preferer to do it to visit the store personally and to see what you're buying you can get the upfront info and the tech support you need. Shopping for office supplies can be an adventure for the many things that a store has is the best thing is that you can see them up close and to choose, and ask yourself," Would my staff like things like this or the many different colors?" Those are the many things you may want to ask to find the best products and the right prices to see what they are is some of the best ways to save your lost day of fighting the catalogs. My trip to the Downtown San Diego Office Depot is one of the best when you come to a larger store you will find the better products and the larger supplies that is what I had found at the store. When I had arrived by way of the trolley the store is very close by the Trolley Station Santa Fe Station short walk over there was a few cars in the large parking lot there is usually more cars for the Friday's offices have more people coming to the store. My visit when I had arrived, I had entered the store and was greeted by the cashier of the copy center and was greeted by the tech support that was in the printer and the toner isles he was resupplying merchandise. I asked Carlos where the SD cards were at that I needed replace for my camera and the hard back notebooks with the spiral outside, and the lightweight pens. The store had been in a reset and the many new rows of the merchandise there was many new things that just came to the store and many sales that was going at the same time. The great customer service from Carlos he was able to help me through the store asking me on product questions if I needed orders sent to my house. I asked him if you charge for business cards and the time do I need to get the order in he told me they can do the order within two days' time or they can do the next day. He took me to the many areas coming to the SD Cards finding those that 38.00 dollars with the membership you get the prices down to a 8.95$ I bought two of them of the PNY SD Cards of 64GB the store location does have some of the best sales when you sign up for the membership that can save you allot of money. Carlos is one person that told me when you buy a lap top camera look for the good resolution and to check the compatibility with your computer. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer, I wanted to say is that the Office is one of the best being in the Downtown San Diego area at the foot of Broadway it does help with so many things and the customers that come off the cruise ships who need things like cameras and things for the computers they have on the ship. The store location is one of the busiest in the area of the courts they do have to create and get copies made for the attorneys and the creation of books and the plastic folders. Office Depot is one store that is large and yet the store is mighty.

Huge Office Depot in downtown San Diego. Clean, but barely staffed. I have been here few times and finding someone to help you is always the problem. I like coming here as it is walking distance from my apartment, but at the same time, prices are on the expensive side. Positive: huge selection of everything office....

My experience in this location was the worst I have heard in any office depot locations. Their customer service is terrible coming from rude Stacy and Carlos. Stacy and Carlos has zero integrity, and lack common sense with no customer service experience. My encounter with them on November 22, 2023 is horrific and terrible experience. Lacking knowledge on any thing one may think of. Try to print something I always do when I go to office depot in La Mesa or Escondido. Both Stacy and Carlos should be staff at the same time because they are both very rude and nasty. How can Carlos took my money with out my print come out the way that I want it. Yes, the office depot in Escondido closed and I end up in Downtown San Diego because I used to live at the East Village and this particular office used to print all my business card for years but never had any problems. It is a shame that office depot engaged with the above mentioned name that are incompetent.

I had forgotten to print a document at home before visiting my daughter. Luckily, I spotted an Office Depot near her house and found that they have self service copy machines. You just had to email the documents to the photocopier and you will receive a code in order to retrieve and print the document. So easy and quick. I was there on a weekday morning, and there were plenty of 1-hour parking spots at this downtown San Diego location.

Don't come here! Rude staff! Not helpful, feels like you're a burden to them! Bought a printer and it's broken! Also saw a cockroach run inside the store! This place is horrible and disgusting! Stay away!

Terrible location and customer service. The store always looks closed since it's unbusy, yet the sales personnel do not bother to look up or greet you. Also - beware their return policy is only 14 days not 30 days. Their policy states "technology" but I would not consider a protective case actual technology. The girl casually sauntered over to a different register to help me, and then proceeded to ask for my license plate??? What? So a gentleman came over, and stated there's nothing they could do since it's technology. No return, no store credit, just no. I purchased 3 tablet cases to try since their customer service that day wasn't able to help the day I picked them up. Now I'm out $80+ for work. Don't bother coming here unless it's an emergency and you know exactly what you need, you will have zero customer service. Try ordering from Amazon, Target or Walmart instead and avoid Office Depot.

The print staff was very helpful! Got us a couple of banners and 100+ flyers printed in no time. Also guided us on the process, selection and helped us a ton! Highly recommend this office depot for all the conferences nearby!!

I was looking for same-day printing services and had called around to a couple places. Everyone was pretty backlogged. I even went to FedEx/Kinko's to print my own and it would have been very expensive and I would have done my own cutting. I walked into this Office Depot, and Stacey at the printing services counter was incredibly helpful. The whole process was so speedy and I had 100 copies of what I needed cut perfectly within 15 minutes. The pricing was fair and competitive. I will be back here for my same-day printing needs.

"I recently visited Office Depot at 825 W E St and had a fantastic experience, especially with an employee named Edward. I was in search of an office chair and chair mat, and Edward went above and beyond to assist me. Not only was he kind and resourceful, but he also provided me with a 20% off coupon and informed me about other discounts and benefits available. As a seasoned mortgage expert and certified mortgage advisor who values exceptional customer service, I was incredibly pleased with my experience. Highly recommend this location for all your business supply needs."Hope this captures your experience well, Eric, seasoned mortgage expert and certified mortgage advisor.
