When you walk in it looks like a run down flea market or bazaar! Don’t let that fool you they have a nice friendly staff, good produce and products. Better than fair prices and quick and painless.

In the meat section, flies are flying on the meat. I asked an employee because the expiration date of the products I bought was overdue. the answer; a day or two later, nothing will happen. I do not recommend this disgusting store to anyone, you will lose your health.

EXCELLENT selection of middle eastern, eastern European and Mexican groceries (frozen, deli, cheeses, fresh baked breads, beverages, candy etc). Affordable produce! The store has a spice wall with everything you could ever need. I found multiple spices that are not available/have been sold out from bulk sections of other local groceries this winter (such as allspice and ground cloves). They have a small parking lot!

Great specialty grocery store with middle-eastern and eastern-european food. There's also a to go restaurant inside. I stop every time I'm in the neighborhood.

Walking into the store, you're immediately hit with this amazing, warm, and comforting scent of food cooking and the way I like to come home. There are so many reasons to like this store, especially for someone not native to anywhere close to the Middle East. Here are a few: 1. Fresh baked bread in a stone/clay oven - nothing comes close. 2. Huge selection of pickles, olives, and olive oil, with good prices. 3. The mini restaurant in the back of the store - the beef shawarma by itself - is worth the trip. 4. Freshly made hummus, baba ganoush, and tabouli. 5. Excellent and reasonably priced spices and dried herbs - make this your first stop the next time you need to refill your supply. I seem to find myself getting lost in here every time I go because there's so much to discover and learn. This time, I was able to find chai tea in a tea bag - no added sugar. I can't wait to try it! The jewel of today's visit was definitely Nowar (sp?), the sweetest and hard-working lady who took the "restaurant's" orders, served hot bar items, and answered the phone for pickup orders. She said her name meant "gift" in Arabic. While she was getting pulled from here to there, she kept her cool and stayed calm despite how busy they were. Thank you, Nowar, for being my gift today.

No expiration dates on the diary and most of their produce, I purchased around 4 pounds of beef and lamb, told me they need like 10 mins to get it cut and prepared, I continued to shop then came back to pick it, they placed it in black bags where you can not see the quality of beef. When I got home the beef was dark brown and smelled funny, it was not fresh. I threw everything in the trash and their prices are not cheap. Bad experience never going back to them. I also told two of my friends to stop shopping from them. Also their customer service sucks

New owners, many vegetarian choices in ready salads, everything looks fresh. They have great feta cheese selection and some unique imports that are worth the curious palate.

I was in Kensington this afternoon and stopped in this North Park Produce to pick up some advertised items. Well ... North Park Produce El Cajon is no longer related to North Park Produce in Poway and doesn't honor the latter's weekly sales. Overall, this North Park is smaller than its namesake. Aisles are narrow. It has a small car park behind the store.

The people who manage and/or attend the store never say helloOr say a nice Welcome word. They show kind of dry personalities.Maybe they can receive some training on being a more welcoming staff and owners included .Even at Walmart they have someone in front entrance saying welcome to Walmart and those are huge stores.

All things mediterranean can be found here, including authentic Greek feta. Their meat counter is one of the best with cuts you don't typically find in other grocery stores. Also, the spice and tea selection is fantastic.
