The gym is split between this location and another space above the ice cream shop a few doors down.Since the split it’s really difficult to do my workouts based on the weights being in one place and the open space for stretching or other types of non-weight workouts being separate.They also stopped offering towels so you have to bring your own if you need one.Prices also went up when they expanded so overall really unfortunate based on my preference/style of workout needs.

Best gym I've ever been to! Ever since starting here a couple years ago I have seen constant improvements to the equipment, design layout, even adding an extra room, etc. With small things like adding an automatic water dispenser, the owner Lou definitely wants us to have a great experience. It's also nice to know that your membership fee is actually going into making the gym a better place compared to other gyms where nothing ever changes.I always look forward to going in because Hector at the front desk is the coolest dude around. He might come over and use your 1 rep max as his warmup but at the same time he'll always come over to help you out with anything or give you a spot.Unfortunately, I am moving away from San Diego and I think I will miss this place the most. Hands down the best gym I'll probably ever go to.Pros-always clean-constant improvements-centrally located in North Park-friendly and helpful staff-besides after work it's never really packed-really nice and new equipment-new upstairs room-not an influencer gym-I could go on and onCons-leg press machine is meh-if you don't live in the area then parking could be a little rough

It's a small gym but with all the equipment needed to have a great workout. I personally love it.

Price hike up to 70 bucks for a place like this is crazy. Don't waste your money on greedy owners, better deals around for sure

Clean facility with lots of machines, free weights, cardio stuff, etc. Friendly staff. And they have a daily rate for out-of-towners, which a lot of gyms don't.

The gym is nice and has mostly every machine you could need. Parking is tough and there is no air conditoner so the summers are brutal.

great little gym with pretty much everything you could ever need. never have to wait too long, even when it’s busy, and I haven’t had any bad experiences with staff or other members. just wish they’d swap the leg extension machine for a regular one

These guys were so friendly. Great little setup with everything you need for lifting and cardio. Includes assault bikes.

Great spot especially for a short weekend visit if you stay in the north park area. Quality equipment. Awesome staff. Military discount rates as well!
