I have been getting my nails done here on and off for over ten years! I have tried other places around town, but I keep coming back to this unassuming, but amazing Bird Rock nail salon. Everytime I get a gel manicure here it lasts for at least two weeks. For some reason, when I get gel at other salons it just slides off within a week. The spa is clean and calm, and they take their time here. They don't rush you out assembly line style like so many salons these days. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area, and even if you're not! Hands down, the best nail salon in San Diego! Every time

I've been getting my eyebrows done here once a month for the past few years. Flower always does an amazing job. I've never had to wait long (even showing up without an appointment), and the staff is lovely. I seriously can't reccomend this place enough. I can't go to anyone else because I love the way Flower does my eyebrows. She always cleans them up & helped me get an arch back after overplucking for years. I'm so sad that I'm moving out of the country & will need to find a new place to go for my eyebrows. Thank you for everything these past few years Flower! All the best to you and your business!

My nails turned out cute but woah is it expensive. I got French tips and added tips (fake nails) it was ) 68. Not sure if this is the regular pricing range but seems over priced. Love my nails tho!Services: Nail extensions

Tried several nail salons in the area over the last 10 years, and this is the best one by far! They not only care about the quality of their work, and also the customers. My manicures and pedicures from here less far longer than other places, and cost a bit less! So overall a great value. Take are hygienic, have the latest colors and great massage chairs. Referred by a friend who's been coming here for many years. Highly recommend you check it out!

The best nail salon in San Diego! I have been going here for 7 years and I will not go anywhere else! They always do a wonderful job on my nails and toes, and I leave feeling refreshed. Every nail artist is wonderful, talented, and so friendly. I recommend making an appointment so you're able to sit back and relax. When I get a pedicure I love getting the sugar scrub which comes with a mini massage. Recently I have been getting into designs and it has been so much fun!

What an amazing place! I called at 6:30 (they close at 7) they took me in without any problems. I had dip powder done and they applied nail polish to my toes. Service was AMAZING! Flower and her husband were very friendly and helpful. I'm from out of town but they treated me like they've known me for years. Would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you Flower for such wonderful service you're a gem!

The good: best leg massage ever with pedicure. We’re really sweet with my teen daughter who got acrylics. The not so good: did a sloppy job on both her and my nails. Said they accepted credit and debit cards but in the end made such a fuss and ushered me out the door to go across to the bank and get cash to pay in full. Very annoying. I always pay cash when I can, I just didn’t have >$100 in cash on me at that moment. I won’t be going back there again.

I’d give more stars if I could. I got the best manicure of my life here. They were careful, attentive, clean, and did exactly what I asked for! I did tips, hard gel and gel polish and my nails look hand model worthy. I wish I could bring these guys to Boston with me because I don’t think I’ll be able to ever get another manicure like this one. Just chefs kiss perfect.

Just moved to the area and am SO glad to have found Nails by the Sea!! Flower, my wonderful manicurist gave me the best SNS dip powdwr manicure I've ever had.. can't believe how good my nails look! Can't wait to go back and see her again in a few weeks! 5 out of 5 for this place!
