John's personal service was great. He worked with us through choosing the right size and orientation (landscape or portrait) for our Murphy bed. He explained all of the options without us feeling like we were being upsold. I definitely recommend him.

Terrible company. Customer service is deplorable. Do not special order as they don't stand behind the contract you sign. Don't pay in full until after you inspect! Buyer beware!

We stopped into Murphy Beds of San Diego to see if they might have a solution for a small bedroom/office we wanted to double as a guest room. We had a rough idea to remove a small closet and use that space for the bed and, if we could find one, a narrow nightstand or cabinet. John greeted us and immediately got to work explaining the various models and helping us choose the right size for our space. He also suggested a custom-built side cabinet with a pull-out nightstand and a small area for hanging clothes. With measurements in hand, he sketched up the concept, and we were sold on the idea of not having to find separate pieces. After placing our order, John was very thorough in his follow-up, asking for photos and more detailed measurements to ensure the piece would work in our space. We had our delivery last weekend, and the crew was friendly and efficient. The final result was amazing. We love the new bed--it absolutely transformed our space. I recommend Murphy Beds of San Diego to anyone looking to make more efficient use of the space in their home.

We needed a new mattress for our daughter's Murphy Bed and John was fabulous explaining the choices and what was best for the bed we had. While I was cashing out my husband went over to the Casual Dining Side and sat in a gorgeous swivel wood/upholstered chair in front of an extremely well crafted, solid wood, round table. It was so comfortable he called me over and I agreed the set was fabulous. It is hand made by the Amish in Pennsylvania and we could pick out the type of wood we wanted from a variety of choices. Well we fell in love with the set and we picked out a beautiful color for the upholstery as well! Needless to say we are extremely delighted with our table and chairs and the mattress!John was so very helpful and knowledgeable!! We couldn't be happier!! Go see John and tell him Cathy sent you!!

We recently wanted to purchase a new bed for our guest bedroom. We really needed a desk as well for a home office but our room would not comfortably fit both. A Murphy Bed seemed like the perfect solution. Soon we started to look for options and found Murphy Beds of San Diego /Causal Dining. Most importantly we found John! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. John answered all our questions, helped find the perfect wall bed with desk that fit our needs, and made the entire process easy and seamless. We will be installing the bed in a few months. This was a great experience. We recommend a visit to Murphy Beds of San Diego, it will be worth your while; ask for John.

My husband and I went in to the store to buy a new mattress for our wall bed. We were greeted by John who was very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. We ended up spending a lot of time laughing and talking about many things unrelated to mattresses. We definitely recommend Murphy Beds of San Diego.

Charles and Victor from Murphy Beds of San Diego (MBSD) came in and assembled a bed/couch combo for me that I actually purchased from another company in New York. I just moved into a studio apartment in San Diego, and I knew a Murphy Bed would be a great solution to help open up my living space, but considering that the bed I purchased from the other company came in 9 boxes, I knew that I wanted to have professionals handle the job. I was very happy to find out that MBSD would do the assembly service - even if the bed didn't originate from their supplies. Although the online reviews for the bed I had said that people had put it together in about 3 hours (which I'm assuming was definitely a lie), it took Charles and Victor about 7 hours for the total assembly. And they were moving very efficiently through the entire process! That said, it was money well spent. The bed's assembly is solid and I've been sleeping great for the last few nights (they literally did this for me a few days ago - check out the attached photo). I would highly recommend MBSD for your Murphy Bed assembly needs. I can't speak for all of their employees, but Charles and Victor represented the company very well. They had all of the materials they needed for every aspect of the job, they were professional and courteous, and they even gave me a walkthrough of using the bed once things were fully assembled (Thanks for the hard work, gentlemen!). I rent for now, but in a few years I plan to buy a home and I'll very likely reach out to MBSD for one of their beds to be put in a guestroom. 10 out of 10 would recommend -- you left a great impression on me.

Have done a great job in getting the job done right. After being away from my property for almost a year, I returned to find work done here by MBofSD on another company's Murphy Bed was not satisfactory. A crew was sent back out and made it right beyond my expectations. Excellent job.
