Love the Location right near the beach can't beat the Price for weekend Rates..All the staff was very nice an helpful. I really Like the giant Smart TVs u can watch all streaming apps an log into your own accounts. Free Wifi. I stay here alot an I never have any issues with noise or neighbors making noise late. Wish I would have seen this place sooner rather than paying so much at other places. Beach is like less than a mile down the road.Rooms: Nice new beds HUGE SMART TV.s microwave fridge.. extNearby activities: Of course the Beach ?Safety: I felt safe outside or walking to go get food across the streetWalkability: You can walk across the street to get food or whatever.Food & drinks: There's lots of food places McDonald's/711 /gas station right across the streetNoteworthy details: All the staff was very nice an went out of there way to help me.. example I had really bad tooth ake an had no ibuprofen or anything an shout out to Carlos helped me out with some ibuprofen that really helped my pain that I was having.. appreciate that Carlos I ended up having to go to hospital an they were very nice about saving my room for me... Anyways overall love the place an I'm still here. ?

Actually pretty decent for the price. Not big but provides the basics and that's more than enough these days when chain motels don't even do thatWalkability: Quite a few dining options in walking distance.. right next to 5 freeway access..

This motel has a cool and laid-back vibe, and the managing brothers were incredibly kind, going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. The convenience of parking right in front of the room and the single-level layout, with no one above you, gives it a studio apartment feel rather than a traditional motel room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, though the bed made a slight noise, nothing too significant. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this property. ?

This was the most awful place ever! I have stayed all over and by far this one tops the list. Idk where to start the room, bed, shower, dust, dirt, everything was just gross. The walls are thin so we heard the neighbors dig bark all night. Our bed literally broke down during our sleep. I paid for three nights, the next morning we checked out. The staff was friendly but didn’t do any justice to the room.

I absolutely loved Motel San Diego.Freeway close, outstanding service and sparkling rooms. Pitbulls and parole violators welcome!This is literally the best room deal in all of San Diego.If you arrive from the 5 north, just downshift to first gear and drift it into the parking lot from the off-ramp which doubles as the outdoor recreation area. Perfect for the tykes. No pool though. That was closed down in 1952 for the Typhus outbreak. All good now though.I recommend room #1. It doubles as a forward observation post for the neighborhood tweekers and a snuff-film location, since it's the last room of cell block 2. Cinder block walls muffle the screams. Was that bleach I smelled?. The door has been kicked in a few times, so I recommend a chair propped under the door knob, and/or the aforementioned pitbull companion. I prefer a "lived in" vibe.The bed was excellent, with the linens only used a couple times.Would I stay here again? absolutely----It's like being in a Tarentino film.

So the rooms and hotel are a little old and outdated. However the bed was comfy, the room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The location is great. You can't really beat the price and they accept pets free. It was very safe and quiet.

No dependable wifi, dead bolt lock was not operational, room smelled of smoke in a non smoking room, took 10 min for hot water in the shower...

Let me just say I knew what I was getting into before I came because I read the reviews and luckily I did because we brought blankets and bath towels which are not provided. The bed had clean sheets only and the bathroom had hand towels only. (Bring sandals for the shower).We were looking for a cheap room to stay from 8pm to 6am and took a gamble.With that said, it worked out just fine and I don't regret it, but just know you are getting a one star motel that is very old and dilapidated. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and check in was fast and easy.

This place was amazing!!!! Carlos was super helpful and provided amazing assistance with our deluxe shower. This place really deserves 5 stars, so close to the beach and such amazing customer service. The staff is so hardworking and kind. We even had a cute parking spot filled with plants in front!!!!

Cute little small motel rooms! very clean despite its looks! The staff is very helpful and extremely welcoming! Would definitely recommend for a weekend stay, smells clean and if there are any problems the front desk are always extremely sweet and quick to assist you. No ice machine but they DO have vending machines! 10/10 for the cuteness on the outside and cleanliness inside !

Absolutely love this place!!! I come here every year with my husband and kids! Very nice inside and they have a little front yard! I love it! Sebasthian front desk guys is very nice and always helpful HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
